Goooood morning, Nut Jobs!!!!

1. Just let them know that yr seating job is on an observational only level (Uh..except for the mac & cheese!).
Be sure to mention Blues's vacation/ 'work' scheme whenever the manager gets after you!

2. Next shift, double helpings mac 'n' cheese!
And on the subject of nutrition, did you pick up the Lucky Charms & soda?

3. Question for Rob & Donnisha: do you all put sugar on the Lucky Charms?
How about the rest of you Nuts?
1. I'll tell them this person I met online who some claim is imaginary said I shouldn't have to seat Guests, so I'm just gonna sit here and observe. That will make it sound credible while also verifying my sanity. :rolleyes1 I'll tell them jonestavern supports my decision too. I'll let you know how it goes when I get back from work tonight, k?

2. I would like to mention that they feed us before our shift and then after our shift once all the Guests have left we can have anything off the buffet. AND unlimited soft drinks/soda/pop/whatever you call it at all times. It's like they're paying me with money and food. I love it.

3. NO!!!!!! Aren't they already sugary enough?? Thanks for calling me by my proper name. Although, tonight I might be someone else.

Good Morning Nuts! Our first Christmas family event happens this evening as we visit my parents to celebrate Christmas. They also will come to our home on Christmas Day for a huge lunch but we like to exchange gifts beforehand and, of course, anytime you get together, you HAVE to eat!

-- Rob
Have fun!

Merry Christmas Nuts!
Merry Christmas, Vz and Pixie!!

Just a drive by!!

I'll be back tonight with comments (from work  )

Hope all is well with you nuts!! I probably won't have much DIS time in the next few days! Enjoy the time with your families!

So I completely forgot what I was going to say...I got on here, and my mother fell down the basement steps. She's okay...she was taking Tara's blanket down to wash it and stepped on it. She's got major rug burns on her back and arm, but nothing is broken. We're both shaking.

I did want to post a picture of Little Miss Tara...a rare quiet, contemplative moment:

Merry Christmas, Cheryl!!! :santa:
I meant to tell you I made your hotel reservation for you. But maybe you're not even going to be online to read this and I should just call you.

LIZ!!! Tara is a cutie but OMGosh!!!! What a scare that must have been! Perhaps you need to start dipping into the egg nog now. Glad your mom's okay.

Thank you! You know, I really like that picture. There's just something very sweet about it. You'd never know that a minute earlier, she'd been barking her fool head off at completely nothing out there! She just gets over-excited when the door is open.

Forget the egg nog...I've got a bottle of Moet & Chandon White Star cooling out on the porch. It's for next week, but I'm thinking I should pop it now!

So, um, how late is "tonight"?

DS12 and I went to see National Treasure: Book of Secrets yesterday and I enjoyed it quite a bit and recommend it highly. I'm pretty sure the first National Treasure film only had one death in it and this one did too and neither were graphic or even visible (I know the one in this movie is only implied -- you don't actually see it). I love being able to take my kids to an action film (for the most part) and not have to worry about violence and language, especially when the films are done well. The new Goofy cartoon (new to me anyway) shown prior to the film is pretty good too.

I'm not sure if DW will let me out of the house for a movie for three days in a row or not but I do have two or three flicks I still want to see.

Ok, I thought I had quoted Liz but it didn't make it to my previous post so I am posting again...

Liz -- glad to hear your mom is relatively ok. Seems like with each passing year, falls get harder and harder to take.

I SO want to see this! I love the first National Treasure movie! I don't know if I'll get to see it in the theatre, though - I think I'm going to see Sweeney Todd next Tuesday (I found out that all shows are $5.50 on Tuesdays here). I feel bad about leaving Mum and going to the movies, but we don't have the same taste in that - or much of anything else, for that matter.

She said she was getting sore last night, and she's got a nice bruise on her foot now. I didn't even think that she could have broken a hip (I asked her right away if she thought she broke a leg!). She left before I got up this morning, so I didn't get to see her, but I'm sure she's limping.

She's not thinking straight lately anyway. She left her glasses at the bank on Saturday - I just got back from picking them up.

Good Morning Nuts!

And again, talking about my mother - I had an egg salad sandwich for breakfast! I can't make it the way she does...

Well, Nutters...it's our first Christmas without Gram. And 9 years ago today, we lost Grandpa. It's bittersweet, but I think we're okay.

Merry Christmas!

Hello Nuts! Just wanted to stop by to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. I'm feeling a little sad and unwanted tonight because my sister and I had a fight and she left the house to spend the night with a friend so I'll wake up alone Christmas morning. It's okay though, I mean, it has to be. I volunteered to work 9am-11pm tomorrow straight through. That will be a long, busy day, I'm sure!!! But, it's double time!

So....

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Hope it's a great one. :santa:

 What would Christmas holidays be without a family fight? :confused3 I'm sure you two will resolve it soon enough PJ. :thumbsup2

Santa just left here! Here's a sneak preview before the kids have even seen (and destroyed, um, played with) it yet:

Everything on the floor in front of the fireplace (not the Snoopy's -- they are decoration) -- from left to right, DS6, DS9, DS12, and DS15

It will be interesting to see if we get any complaints when the boys see what is in front of the fireplace because this year, for the first time ever, Santa split his delivery into two locations in our home. The big item is actually downstairs physically located almost directly below the gifts in the pic above:

Notice the Woody hand-painted on the wall.

Notice the Buzz Lightyear hand-painted on the wall.

Merry Christmas. My mother opened her CD and is playing it. So...Christmas is over here. Don't know what else to do with myself today.

Hope the kids across the street don't come over. I'm not doing my hair or putting on makeup today. That, and 3 years ago when they were here, the younger boy (he was about 4 at the time) showed me his action figure and said, "He's fat, but not as fat as you"

Merry Christmas Nuts!!
Sounds like you all had a nice Christmas!!
Thanks to PJ & Heidi for the beautiful cards!

I was able to move my neck a day or two before, thankfully!
We had company on the 23rd and 24th, did brunch on Christmas and gifts then went to the beach! It was a beautiful sunset. I was sad I forgot to take my camera.

I got a GPS for my car, the one with the AAA tour book on it!! Some Beautiful perfume, my favorite red wine, a Lolita martini glass, Disney dollars, car cell phone charger and a few other small items, I did well :)
Oh and Crystina made us a collage of our Alaska trip and a photo album, which was a very creative and thoughtful gift from her.

Well, things don't slow down for us yet. I have to work the next few days, drive to Maimi to work the last pathetic Dolphin game, the work the Orange Bowl on the 3rd. My parents will be coming down from CT to spend NYE with us in Miaimi.
Then we go to Disney on the 4th to be with Kevin's family, staying at Bonnet Creek. Hopefully I'll get to meet up with PJ one day while we are there.
So, that's it for us.
