Hey Jean~

Where did you find those chocolate pickles? I think Nic would like one for Christmas;) :lmao:

Look..yummy?

Here's another good gift choice for Nic:

Hate to tell you this, but that really looks like something other than a "chocolate pickle"...something equally unappetizing...

Really :confused3 Yours come wrapped? :rotfl:

I'm having a hot white chocolate--yum!

Welcome to the Nuts *~FairytaleLife~*

Climb down back down offa that limb and have a banana dance!

Hey Nuts! Didju all miss me this week? The project I've been working on for the last 14 months installed some stuff last Thursday and the rest this coming Thursday so I have been busy, busy at work.

Here's a quick rundown of my week last week:
Sunday -- off to the Chiefs/Chargers game with 3 of my sons -- in the 60s the day before, in the 50s the day after, in the 30s the day of the game! Fortunately, we were in the shade with the wind blowing so it felt even cooler. :rotfl:

Monday -- my oldest son got to suit up with the "A" squad for his high school basketball game. He got to play the last 2.5 minutes of the game when his team was already down by 25. :rotfl2:

Tuesday -- long work day

Wednesday -- sick at home -- still did about 3 hours of work that day -- also got to watch "A Day at the Races" and "A Night at the Opera" on Turner Classic Movies channel that day although I was fading in and out of sleep as I was fighting off my fever.

Thursday -- First snow of the Fall here in KC during the day. I went with DW (no kids!) to the Billy Joel concert at our new Sprint Center arena that evening. Two main impressions from the show: (1) An excellent, excellent evening of fun entertainment -- not too many singers can pull from 36 years or so of their songs and still sound as strong and as good as they used to. (2) I tend to forget and thus am always amazed at how good of a piano player he is. Simply amazing piano skills.

Friday -- another long work day (which is why I'm still up at 5:40 in the morning) BUT I took a break for the evening to attend a "Singing Christmas Tree" presentation so I took in one holiday event this year. I'm hoping after we install this Thursday at work that I'll be able to get in the holiday spirit more. This is reminding me some of being in college and not being able to relax and enjoy the holidays until after finals were over. About the Singing Christmas Tree: one of the musical numbers was accompanied by about 10 to 12 ballerinas -- probably around PJ's age, more or less -- so I got my fine culture in for the next 12 months.

We all know how I am about guys in glasses...
Do I have to put lenses in them or can I wear just the empty frames? Maybe some clear, straight, regular glass lenses. :scratchin

I'mmmmmmmm baaaaccckkk!
Welcome back Jean!

*AHEM*?????????? :rolleyes1
MTE Lisa.

So, my Pats almost lost!! But, they did it :):cheer2: Crazy game.

Oh, I have a heel spur:rolleyes: it hurts like crazy.
Two more yards or 30 more seconds, Cheryl.

And as my DS used to say, "Who 'ruined' your snow?"
I agree with your DS! I rode up in a glass-walled elevator the other day and noticed that someone had came out and shoveled part of the outdoor patio -- which does not get any use in the wintertime -- at the law frim building next to where I work. I was saying, "But why?". Makes no sense to me.

So much for being swamped today. We've been caught up for hours. I guess it's that time of year again - people aren't buying windows and doors! I've answered all my emails, paid some bills, ordered a few things...
I always give windows and doors for Christmas gifts!

Manicure time!
Let me know when the pedicure talk starts up again.

Does anyone think it's suspicious Rob & Squiddy & that smilie postin' Canadienne are off and wanderin'? :rolleyes1
Don't lump me in with those freaks!

Hey there Rella Bella!

Loving the Christmas lights in yr siggie!
You should come down here and visit us Jean!

3. Pretty much everything those 3 do is suspicious. :rolleyes1

Hey, Rella! Love the signature pic! :santa: How's things?
Hey now.

Like I said to Jean, you should come visit. They're even prettier in person.

and Happy Birthday to me!
Awwww, and here I figured I didn't really miss anything this past week. Happy 29th Birthday Jean!

1. National Lampoons=hilarious.
So you've taken my advice and seen National Lampoon's Van Wilder then? :rolleyes1 (NOT Van Wilder 2!) You need to see it soon if you want to extend your time in school for another 5 or 6 years.

Jean...I think you naturally gravitate toward the points cliff. :sad2:

Liz...good news on mom's job!! It'll probably take some getting used to, but I bet it'll be a good thing.

Rob...welcome back. I've only seen National Lampoons going to Wallyworld and Europe, I think. Actually, I don't know if I know what you're talking about.

Goofster...who are you sending those lovely "gifts" to? One for each of the Nutters?

Pixie...Hi. :wave2: Brave of you to stop in.

FairytaleLife...welcome!!! :welcome: I'm PJ. I'm the sweet, nice one. :)

Hope everyone's having a nice weekend. I just did some online shopping and now we're getting ready to make Christmas cookies.

Hi PJ!! How are you?

Doing well, thanks. You? I have to head off now so the Christmas cookies aren't a complete disaster but I'll check back later. Have a great Saturday!

Well, I cant stop listening to Ever Ever After. I want to see Enchanted so badly but I dont want to go to a movie theatre. Im kinda scared of getting stuck to the floor or seats.

Have fun shopping!!!

Whaaaaat? You've never seen National Lampoon's Animal House? :scared1: Actually, Animal House, Van Wilder, and the four Vacation movies are the only National Lampoon movies I consider to be funny and all six of those are worth renting. Animal House is a classic.

I am still confused. Is there a movie called just Animal House? Or are we talking about National Lampoons Animal House. Or are they one and the same? How many National Lampoon movies are there?

Hi, Liz. :wave2:

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

National Lampoon's Animal House is the official title. There are 40 National Lampoon movies total but most went straight to video.

Well, I am shocked! I had no idea there were that many. Interesting. :scratchin
That's why when you said National Lampoon's = hilarious, I thought maybe you had seen many of their movies. I've seen about 12 of them or so but, let me say, there is a reason that only Animal House, Van Wilder, and the Vacation ones are known. I normally don't enjoy the raunchy comedy movies (honest) but I like both Animal House and Van Wilder (again Van Wilder, NOT Van Wilder 2).

No, I only saw the vacation ones. Is this conversation becoming rather circular?

Just a drive by

See you all tomorrow evening :yay:
What's tomorrow evening?

Monday evening! :thumbsup2

Ha! Bet you didn't think I would know.

-- Rob

I had to read that twice because I was totally thinking it was Monday today. I have no idea why. So then I was like "tomorrow evening is Tuesday." Wow. Maybe I need to go to bed.
