Um, when you move out of southern Florida? You live in the freakin' tropics Cheryl!

LOL I know, but in a few weeks we will have glorious weather for many months. I live for that!
I just saw the weather. It's 95 and feels like 107! YUK

Looking on the accuweather forecast for 15 days out it looks like mid 80's during the day and high 60's at night - now that is my kind of weather!:thumbsup2

I hope so, I'll take it even a bit lower during the day. Hopefully drier too.
It won't be long now!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm off to work!
Have a lovely afternoon people!!

BTW, we hit 9000 posts today!!

Woohoo for you Liz!! :thumbsup2

9000 posts!!!!!!!!!!!!

:woohoo: :yay: :dance3:

And a (relatively) good morning it is...despite my shoulder and now neck still aching...

I was at my desk already when my cute coworker came in. Oh, yeah, he was looking. So once again, I looked him right in the eye and smiled and said good morning to him. He did the same.

I'm proud of myself. When you're this shy, just making eye contact is difficult!

Congrats on the 'Hellos'! :jumping1:
Now try maintaining eye contact just a tad too long! Don't forget to do the head toss.
Later add the lip licking thing! puckerup:

Okay, for further coaching see Rob! :rolleyes1

Yeah...Rob would probably just tell me to take off my shirt...:sad2:

Okay, not even going to pretend I read back. My mind really just isn't in this right now. It has been a looooong week. This is going to be a whining post, so if you don't want to read it, you may just continue on. There were lots of rough times for some of the little ones this week, so that meant lots of rough times for me. I don't know how kids can deal with some of the stuff they have to go through.

I had a bad afternoon today because I made a little girl cry for the first time and I felt like the meanest person alive. She's been doing something for 3 weeks now that needed to stop and I finally just had to crack down on it. Made me feel worthless though.

None of that really matters though because what really matters is this....
I know a couple weeks ago I mentioned the benefit I went to for my cousin's husband's brother with lung cancer. He went into the hospital on Monday. The doctors don't think he'll make it through the night. His 4 kids just left the hospital. Everyone decided they should say goodbye to their dad, probably for the last time, and then go home. I was able to spend a few hours at the hospital tonight as well. Although he can't talk anymore when I held his hand he squeezed my hand back really tight. Lots and lots of prayers are needed for that family. Especially for those 4 precious kids who I think are about to lose their daddy. The little one is only 2 and the oldest is 8.

I think I'm headed out for the night.

PJ, first of all, I'm glad to see you back around and I'm glad YOU'RE ok. On the crying kid, I'm sure you did what you needed to do and did it in the best way you could. On your extended family member (or in-law, I guess to be more accurate), prayers and best wishes to both him and his family and to you. I've seen women at work who lost their husbands and it is amazing how strong they can be. On the other hand, it certainly is not easy.

Take care. (again)

Totally sad :(
Eventually they will get through it. It won't be easy and they will need all the support they can get.:grouphug: Hang in there PJ.

My cousin died when he was 36 from sleep apnea, of all things. He left 5 small children and a wife behind. They are doing remarkably well. It's been 4 years, she always says the first year was the hardest.

PJ,

I'll be thinking of you and your family through this difficult time.

Those poor children :sad1:
