My evaluation went very, very well. When the supervisor was leaving she told me that she doesn't say this to all student teachers and some she really wonders about, but she's sure that I have chosen the right career. Me too.

I spent about 8 hours doing my share of the project and saved about $40 off the installation cost, probably not my best time investment ever. BUT I learned somethings AND I think the flexible hose will make future dishwasher replacements much, much easier.

DW's SUV is still in the shop for another day or so. I told her I don't think we want them to rush reinstalling the engine -- better to get THAT right! Plus, she is driving a newer car now anyway (mine!) -- I'm the one driving the pickup truck that is 5 months younger than PJ!

This weekend, I am at the NASCAR races here in town but the following weekend I think I'll get to hang 2 new interior doors (1 each at the entrance to the two older boys' bedrooms -- let me just say boys can be rough on hollow core doors -- maybe some future handyman porn for you there also Jean).
