Mixed Nuts Part 2

Nope, it's not taking long since most of the crap around here was Eric's. And speaking of the devil...I just found the scrapbooks I'd made of our shower and of our wedding cards. Garbage? Maybe I should just take the pages out and keep the albums themselves. They're really nice.

And I found a box of cards. Guess I need to go through those.

Don't throw good albums away!! Maybe you need to have a garage sale. I was never a card saver. I look at them and keep them for maybe a week and then pitch them.

awww....do you really want to throw them out?

I don't want to throw out the books themselves, but the cards...

Yeah, there are hundreds of lovey-dovey ones from my ex. I kept everything. Don't want them anymore.

There's a great one in there that says, "I love you. Sorry about the F.U." :rotfl2:

Anyway, I'm off, too. Getting tired.

Watched the movie Wild Hogs tonight with my three youngest DS's. Even though I was/have been in a generally somewhat depressed mood all day (I actually listened to country music for six hours straight today -- not sure if that was because of my mood or caused it :rotfl2: ), I actually LOL'd at some scenes and enjoyed the film quite a bit -- more than I thought I would.

My mother's friend came over tonight and we talked Disney. We are going to AAA next Saturday morning to discuss exactly what dates, but we've narrowed it down to the week after Thanksgiving 2008 and that we want to stay at POFQ!
Oh, Liz, congratulations. We went the week after Thanksgiving in 1997 and the second week in December last year. It is my absolute favorite time to go. Crowds are smaller (still not small though) and the parks and resort hotels are decorated for Christmas. To show an example of the crowd size, this only happened once that Dec. 2006 trip but we were able to ride Soarin' without leaving the "main room" that the ride operates in. We did switch from the top row to the middle row for the second ride to allow others to have the top row.

Well I'm heading off here now,

have a good night Liz
Night Blue! Sweet dreems.

Anyway, I'm off, too. Getting tired.
Night Liz! Pleasant dreams.

People always tell me that country music is depressing. Gotta disagree on this one. Just what were you listening to? Classic country? Pop country? Any Kenny?

p.s. where did you go?

:yay: Good Morning Nutbars!!!! :yay:

Good morning to any fellow heathens!! (that's what my mom called me when I refused to join the family for church this morning) She also screamed "I think I had 2 too many children!" as she left the room. Wonder which other one of us she regrets? :scratchin Good morning to all you religious folk too.

Oko, someone please help me with this one. Am I just missing something here or is everyone else as confused as me when it comes to the fish? Probably just me not understanding something. Yet again.

I just got back from the farm. No, I don't live on a farm like Elis, but this is Ohio, we have farms everywhere. I bought corn, tomatoes, potatoes, green beans, watermelon, fruit for pies, and even a ham for the meat eaters and I'm cookin!! The whole family, grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, everyone is coming over today so I'm cooking SUPPER for all of them. I think there's 30 of us. Gotta get the pies started, have a good Sunday, nutjobs. :grouphug:

I almost forgot....

Just in case I don't make it back tonight.

Tomorrow is my first day at my school I'll be working at. Student teaching. :teacher: I am really super nervous and kinda sorta freaking out so please think happy thoughts, cross your fingers, say a prayer, whatever you're inclined to do for me tomorrow. I would really appreciate it.

Oh how fun and exciting!!! You're going to do great. I wish my children could have a teacher like you. You were so patient and kind with my son when he was with you. We need more teachers like that.
Happy thoughts and pixie dust flying your way PJ!!:wizard: :flower3:

Okay, that's kind of sad on her part. I think at your age you should be able to make decisions on your own without being called names. I know my parents aren't happy I have not chosen the same religous path they instilled in me, but I do what I believe in. I can't ever imagine saying that I never wanted one of my children, even when they get me sooo mad at times. They sound a bit controlling. Sorry Peej:hug:

Nope, you are not alone, but it's Jean ya know how she is;)

Well come on though, KJ is a pure JOY unlike whiney you. He never had a moment. Nope, not KJ.

I thought heathen had a kind of a nice ring to it. jk Thanks, Cheryl. Will you be my mom?

...My DD drove me crazy this summer!! I let her pretty much have her freedom all summer and she had her own partment in the same building as us. All I asked was that she call me when she gets somewhere and calls me when she gets home. She worked two jobs, so she was pretty busy.
She's basically a good kid. As far as I know, no drugs, not too much drinking and good grades. She is just disrepectful to us. She is mean to her 10 year old brother and constantly has a chip on her shoulder.
I'm so sick of it! After getting her moved into her apartment at school, I felt crappy.
She was just bossy and mean to us. We didn't even take her out to dinner on the last night like we wanted to. I just wanted to leave.
Good thing she's close to Disney. I always feel better there.
I see all these girls her age that are so sweet with their mothers, it kills me.
I mean, we rented a van, took her stuff up, helped her move in, bought her everything she needed, helped pick out paint and decorations and all that you are supposed to do as a parent and we just got crapped on. And, she couldn't have been nastier to her brother.

I carck up because tonight she calls and asks if I can get her an airline ticket home for Labor day weekend and another for some four day weekend. I want to say no, but I really try and support her in every way I can. She does need to come home for some student teaching hours because she feels more comfortable doing it in a school she knows, but she can do it up there if she had to. I might just say no.

See, now PJ is such a sweet, respectful girl. After spending a few days with her I just wish my daughter was more like her. Her parents should be proud. Maybe my DD will grow out of this phase, I don't know.

LOL he asks for you every day now. Maybe next time I need a babysitter for a few days I will fly you down!!

See my long post.Glad to exchange at this time.

... Summer is over :( KJ goes back to school tomorrow morning.
I stayed at the beach so I could pack and clean. Dh went home with him and he'll take him there, I'll pick him up.
He's the big man on campus this year!! 5th grader!! He's so excited.
I'm so sad, my baby is growing up too fast.
It was an extra long summer because they changed the school schedule. It's going to be starnge to get back on a somewhat normal schedule.
i'll still be coming back her on some weekends, since I'm working at the stadium this season. Anyway, I'm kind of sad over both leaving here and him starting 5th grade!!
