Just wanted to let everyone know I'm still among the land of the living. I've been volunteering to close a lot of nights and I've been working doubles so lots of overtime. Doubles are breakfast 6am-noon and dinner 4pm-11pm. So after dinner shift I don't get home until about 11:30 and then I have to leave in the morning by 5:30, it's pretty crazy.

I was going to try to read back but this thing is going painfully slow for me. I have a friend coming Thursday through Sunday so I probably won't be around much then either. Miss y'all!! I'll try to check in between shifts tomorrow.

The concert rocked! Sting... They played almost everything from the "Every Breath You Take - The Classics" CD - except Spirits in the Material World, for some reason. But I heard all of my favourites!

Not to mention that his son is also pretty freaking hot. His band, Fiction Plane, was the opener. They also opened for him in '05 and I was impressed. I had a heck of a time finding their first CD. Now I'm on the lookout for their new one!

I am so tired today, though. And despite two showers, my hair still reeks of pot smoke. I'd love to know how the tokers got away with that - we were in the 5th row from the floor, and the place was swarming with state police That's probably also why my head is still pounding.

But 2 hours of Sting...I'll suffer

Sting did wear a shirt, unfortunately. However, it was a skintight, v-neck, sleeveless number, so he was still most drool-worthy.

Pot does not give me a headache...I think it's because of lack of sleep, having to get up to come to work...but I HAVE to come to work the day after concerts! I have to rub it in!

I need to get one of those "Dangerous Curves" t-shirts.

ETA: I see what I wrote in my original post. Wow, I even confused myself. I was really half asleep when I wrote that! No, pot itself doesn't give me a headache. It's the being tired part.
