I am part of a mixed marriage. I could go to Disney 10 times a year. My wife enjoys going. But, would be happy going every few years. Luckily, my two daughters take after me and I am taking them alone in 3 1/2 weeks. Seriously, my wife would love to go. But, cannot get out of work. I envy you people who go more than once a year. ;)

hehe...I'm in a mixed marriage too. My DH doesnt care to go but once a year. Although this year he is going twice due to his family being there at Halloween.

But that's o.k....as long as he continues to let me take trips with my friends when I get the yearning. :)

What a wonderful guy!! Have a great time with your girls!! What wonderful memories you will have from this special trip.:sunny:

My wife is very good. We actually did a Disney doubledip last year. We had my in-laws anniversary in August in S.Florida. So after we took the kids to DW. Then in November it was my fathers 60th and we went with my whole family to Disney Land. Stayed at the Grand California (highly recommended). She is also a little sad about not going.

AdventureKat, Your leaving so soon. Have a great time!!!!

Minivan, You will love WL. That is our favorite hotel. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. But, you are only a short boatride from the MK. This trip we are staying at the Contemporary. To be closer to Chef Mickey's. Kids have never eaten there. :)

We sure are! I am just sitting here waiting for the ride to the airport. We actually get in to Orlando at the time on my counter.

Our first night we are staying at a hotel near Universal and spending a couple of days there. My 4 y.o. is now tall enough to ride the stuff he has wanted to like Spiderman and Men in Black so he is VERY excited. Then its off to POR for 6 nights.

We are BOTH very excited actually. Daddy is coming down on Wednesday and my baby boy, Cole, is staying with Grandma. We'll take him when he's a bit older, perhaps after our move.

Me too :teeth: My DH has gone to WDW with us twice now. The first time was his idea but according to him he's "been once and doesn't NEED to go again." I, however, NEED to go again and again and again . . . well you get the picture. The kids and I are going for February vacation. I am hoping to start going once a year from now on. We have been twice in our 13 years together. The kids love it and I love it and like I always tell DH I could have much more awful addictions. :p He is pretty good about it though and has agreed to go with us next February when he can get the time off from work. I think he secretly enjoys it more than he lets on. He is happy to go to Sea World though (since I love dolphins this is really tough on me ;) ) Anway, I hope you enjoy your daddy and daughter trip. It sounds like a lot of fun. I know I am looking forward to mine.

Kat, If you don't mind me asking (and if you are still online). What state do you live in?

On another point. It is amazing for the people who go a lot and stay for awhile how expensive it must get. I am staying for 5 nights at the Contemporary and got a good deal. And it is still big $$.

A little update. We leave in less than 3 weeks and my wife is getting a little jealous. I think we are rubbing off on her. Although, not enough to make her want to plan a trip next year.....Yet. But, I will work on it. :smooth:

Before my divorce (not Disney related) my wife tolerated my semi-obsession with WDW. I have been to WDW 15 times but she went only 3 times.

I figured this way...I don't drink or Smoke (quit 6.5 years ago) and other than food I have no other faults, so why not. I actually finance my trips with what I saved by not smoking anymore. It's a win, win! Now my lungs work well enough to walk around the parks all day and half the night.

 about WDW!
