Misty Miotto: 4 hour sessions?

I saw on her website the 8 hour packages & the 2 hour packages. Has anyone ever done a 4 hour package with her? I love her photos, but I'm not sure we can afford (or need) the 8 hour package.

Also, how early in advance do we need to book her?

I didn't have her 4 hour package but I can tell you that she takes a ton of pictures and takes every opportunity to make sure she gets a ton of pictures for you. You would be amazed at what she can do in a short amount of time. Actually I think that is a good amount of time for her. We loved her! Plus you are not just getting her but you are also getting her husband so you will have two photographers covering the 4 hour time.

I had her for 6 hours and loved it. It was a perfect amount of time for us and we got a ton of pics. We booked her about 10 months out.

Dhay: Do you mind if I ask you around how much she charged for 6 hours? & did she charge for travel time (just to WDW)?

I booked her about 10 months out also. She doesn't charge any milage or travel fees for Disney. It looks like she now has different packages for Disney weddings. I think she works with you since she knows Disney weddings are all different.

Her 4 hour package listed is $1,400.00 and for the CD only it's $1,000.00. The Disney packages might be different though.

The pictures that come on the CD are great! You can get prints from somewhere else like mpix.com and even get portraits made. It's nice to have the rights to the pictures! You will get lots of pictures. We had over 5,000 pictures on ours but we had her for the entire day...LOL. I have no clue what to do with all the pictures!

Wow, 5000 pics!I'll bet they are gorgeous though! You are the first PJ I've read almost all the way through & you have really nice taste! I hope you don't mind I am borrowing a few of your ideas for my S/D wedding! I'm also looking into Beaute Special-I swear I'm not a stalker!! Just a girl who is recently engaged and has no clue about wedding planning!

we booked her at 12 months out and had her all day, she came at around half 11 and left just after the dessert party

We loved her and her husband and i would so have them again when we do our vow renewal

I did the CD only package and it was about 1100$ I think. We have about 1700 pics so it is well worth it. And I liked her style because when she edits the pics she maintains the integrity of the picture IMO whreas some photogs edit waaay too much. It was worth it because you get the rights to the pics. With DPS, we would have to spend 750$ to buy the rights so we fiured for a little more it was worth it. And at that time they let you book a honeymoon shoot so we got more for essentially the same amount of money IMO.

I haven't really started working with Misty yet because our wedding is still about 8-9 mons out, but speaking wth her on the phone has been great. She is very understanding and works with tons of Disney Brides so she knows all the ins and outs!

Also, I didn't go with an Epcot wedding because I wanted Misty to do the pictures
