I'll join you there Debbie, have already started the plan and bought some dollars!! We're going in July too, the last two weeks. When are you off? As for the Misty Mates, they look great. The kids love getting the spray fans from the park but they're good for us 'oldies'!

we are going 8th - 22nd am a little worried about the heat but are going take advice i have been given and go to the parks early mornings and evening.

am going to get some dollars to before 'Santa' has my cash :wave2:

We've never found the heat to be a problem (always gone in July/August) as long as you dress accordingly i.e. not much! and wear plenty of sunscreen. I tend to use the P20 stuff on the kids (once a day) as it's so easy to burn your shoulders etc; also saves space in the bumbag! Even though the two weeks are busy we always make the days long by not rushing around and taking everything at a leisurely pace.

Hi there,

If the Misty Mates are what I think you mean - the fans with the squirty water thing? Don't spend £15 on one please!

Even the parks sell them for $17 (less than £15) and you can get them in WalMart for MUCH less than that.
