OK, boys and girls....

Mister Disney and Mr. D's K-Man are headed back to the World in the Fall for the 2008 Epcot's Food & Wine Festival.

We put out the offer of allowing our Dis-mates to choose our meal options back in 2005 and have decided to do it again!

Here is the scoop!

We arrive on Friday October 3rd and leave on Monday October 6th.

There will BE NO DINNER CHOICES...as we will be dining at Yachtsman, V&A and Party for the Senses while we are in town.

Meals required are as follows:

We will require 3 breakfast meals and 3 lunch meals in total!

Friday - October 3rd.

Lunch

Saturday - October 4th.

Breakfast

Lunch (either Sat. or Sunday will be Nosh Around the World at F&W)

Sunday - October 5th.

Breakfast

Monday - October 6th,

Breakfast

Once we compile a list of where people would like us to dine, we'll put up a poll and let everyone vote....

GO AT IT.....here is your chance to get us to do a food review of your most favorite place in the World...or maybe the most bizarre!

PoohHappens suggested back in 2005 that we do POP Food Court for Easter Sunday breakfast....little did she know that we REALLY WOULD go there.....that was...until she read the review!

I recommend...

Breakfast
Spoodles. Fantastic French toast. HUGE mugs of hot chocolate covered in whipped cream.

Cape May. Fun character interaction w/o being over the top. Really good grits, and I am *very* picky about grits!!

Kona. Always good, really good smoothies. We've never had the Tonga toast, b/c Mom doesn't like bananas, and I don't think I'd like something that sweet in the morning, but everything else we've tried there has been very good.

Lunch
LTT. This is a must-do lunch spot for us. We usually make our ADR late (1:30-2) when it's less crowded. We enjoy the atmosphere, and the food is better at lunch than dinner.

Kona. Ok, I recommended that for breakfast, too, but go for one or the other. ;) The noodle bowl is really good and *huge*!! Plus it comes with lime and a few other things to add to customize the flavor a bit.

Wolfgang Puck Express. The mango iced tea is really good. Mom enjoys the Thai noodle salad (not much "salad" to it - mostly a cold, Thai-inspired noodle dish), and I love the chicken bolognese sauce.

Grand Floridian Cafe. Pretty spot, nice views, quiet at lunch, good food. We also love the mini-desserts here, b/c you can order a whole bunch and share. Fantastic!

I don't need to tell you boys happy eating, b/c you always eat happily!! :hippie:

Let me think about this....you got me thinking about POP's breakfast pizza and I can't think straight now!:rotfl:

Would love to see your thoughts on the Plaza on Main Street for lunch, and maybe a review of Boma for breakfast.

Hmmmm... I would probably answer this question differently depending on the day but for today

For Breakfast - Cape May, Boma, Whispering Canyon

For Lunch - Earl of Sandwich, The Plaza, Coral Reef

Would love to see a review of that meal. Then you can waddle on over to Epcot for that Nosh Around the World! Sounds like fun, doesn't it?

I dont know what I would pick, I just cannot wait to read the review!

Hmmm....
Breakfast: Spoodles or Kona Cafe

Lunch: Tusker House's new buffet or Yak and Yeti

Breakfast suggestions - CP, Fresh, 1900 Park Faire. Yummy yummy yummy. Oh and can't forget Boma's. (I know that is 4 but it is so hard to decide.) Now for lunch, how about Grand Flordian Cafe, the new WAVE @ CR, Portobello Yacht Club.

Ok, I think for breakfast I would choose 1900 Park Fare (we loved it), Kona (b/c I want to go there in Dec.), and Main St. Bakery in MK.

For lunch, how about Sci-Fi, Beaches and Cream, and Garden Grill. I would have said GF Cafe but I am mad at them for taking away the spinach garlic dip.

TS or CS?

Oh I don't think they're picky. See the link below for their review of Rosie's All American. These guys will eat anything. (Well maybe except the unsweeted applesauce!):rotfl2:

Breakfast: Boma, Kona or Olivia's

Lunch: GF afternoon tea, Tangierine Cafe, The Plaza

Breakfast : Kona, Yacht Club Galley, Spoodles

Lunch: Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Casey's

All places I would like to hear your opinion of, not necessarily places I have been.

While we didn't taste the whole menu, we ordered out favs!

What day are you going to Yachtsman? We have an ADR at Yachtsman on Oct 3. We will also be at PFTS on the 4th! Too funny! Maybe we will see you around...

As far as my votes go, I'd pick Crystal Palace, Boma and Fresh for breakfast.

For lunch, Beaches and Cream (at the very least, for their Dessert), San Angel Inn and 50s Prime Time (good for spankings - j/k ;) )

We don't know if the Steakhouse will be the 3rd or the 5th at this point.

We're going to leave it up to the Chefs to decide, as they will be preparing another fabulous off menu adventure for us in celebration of Kevin's 50th birthday!

Ok Breakfast I agree with Fresh and Cape May

Lunch I have lots of ideas

Yak & Yeti (I have serious questions about an eatery the the word Yak in the name)

The Wave! It will be open by then, and you need to be our judges!

Biergarten (Only cause I can picture you and K-man wearing lederhosen!)

What Fun!

I just discovered Mister Disney and K-Man yesterday, reading the deserts review. Best storytellers I have had the pleasure of reading in a long time. Thank you!

I need time to put in my official thoughts but right off the bat I'm thinking House of Blues Sunday Brunch!

More Later. Now I've got to catch up on the thread, I read some at work, but it's grown.

Happy Planning.
