Mistaken for a CM

It happens every time I go, and did again when I was there the end of Feb. I was in the Emporium at park closing one night. I was wearing jeans, tennis shoes and a pink wind breaker and was approached by two different people who thought I worked there. I take it as a compliment, I guess I look approachable.

Were you wearing a pin lanyard? Always happens to me, especially since I have a Guest of Honor name badge hanging from my lanyard. Doesn't matter what I'm wearing, if I have that lanyard on, I get asked tons of questions.

Doesn't bother me though. I'm always trying to help out.

This has happened to me many times - even when I'm in a Hawaiian shirt and shorts!

I think it's the fact that look like you know where you are at. The tourists search the crowd for a face that isn't looking around like they are and focus on that!

Of course I always try to answer their questions (and even do the Disney 3 finger point when showing directions!)

LOL! I've had that happen to me on several occassions! The funny thing is that it's the CM's that ask me if I work at the park! It only happends if I'm wearing my lanyard full of pins. I usually wear 2 lanyards full of different cast pins and then they ask me if I work there. When I say: "Nope, I don't," they say: "Well you should!!"

This happens to me a lot too. Usually when I am wearing my red Disney coat. It happens so often I don't even think about it and just answer the question.
