Missoni for Target

I've been selling since 2003. The only difference I've found is the fees and the feedback controversy. I don't have any dealings with the resellers, I just work my own business. I end all my sales on Sunday and every Monday I get "paid"!! It works for me, and YES, it's a LOT of work, but it beats a part time job. :thumbsup2

The fees can be a real killer. My bad dealings with the resellers have been mainly in the thrifts, and I knew they were resellers because I ran into their stalls at the swap meet and saw them relist the same item on ebay. They'd push and shove, or try and shop out of my cart, and be so entitled and rude to the staff. They'd rip open baggies to get a closer look at the items then leave the items strewn around. It made it difficult to fly under the radar.

Wow, they do sound rude.

I shop the thrifts for eBay and have never had that experience. Most people are looking for their own size and you can tell the ones who are looking to resell. I would say I'm the worse because I get there early, work hard and get what I need.

I got a string of delayed shipment emays yeaterday. The dates were all changed to late October. I accepted the delayed dates as best as the very cumbersome website was allowing me to.

BUT, :( , the only time I've ever had a delayed notice from Target previously, the order was eventually just cancelled and I never got the item.

I was in Target yesterday and took a quick glance at what was available. There was nothing in the women's section. The racks labeled Missoni had other stuff hanging on them. I did not check the children's section, but there was still a decent selection of shoes left (both flats and pumps) and I even saw one pair of girls' rain boots. Looks like this sale was a massive success for Target. DD12 (who was with me) did not like the stuff we saw. She said it looked like knockoff Missoni.

My rainboots finally arrived yesterday! :cool1:

Overall, I give them a B-. I LOVE the design from a small distance, but if I look at the design up close there are A LOT of flaws and the plastic they are made out of is super flimsy and not stiff at all like Wellies.

My large vase arrived yesterday. It is beautiful. I found the medium in the store and had ordered large and small, so I thought I would have the full set. But the small are one of the late October items. The large is lovely, and I think more so than the medium. I think the larger clear area shows more light, perhaps.

The blouse came today. I will start by saying I am not typically a blouse person. I tried it on and went into the family room. My teenage DS burst out laughing and said it looked like an old person top, something Nana could pull off.

This one may be heading back to Target:)

I received the Large vase on Friday and I didn't love it.. enough so that I canceled my order for the medium. I didn't think the quality was as nice or the colors when I compared it to my platter. But I also noticed this when I picked my platter that each has a different look and shape they are not exactly the same. You lucked out and got a good one. I also received a sweater that I ordered the black with the cutouts, I really like it. I also got the pleated black skirt wich I really like I'm just wondering if the pleats will hold through a wash. I haven't checked in stores for any more items but I know online they are no longer advertising the line.

Stopped in the store today. Saw one of the blue sweaters and a corduroy coat. Lots of baby things, a few blankets, a lot more socks and tights, a full salad bowl set and many assorted platters. I had the coat and a baby union suit on back order. I cancelled the orders since I was not so crazy about the items once I saw them in person. The baby suit has a lot of glitter strips. I had not noticed that shine online. Babies shine plenty on their own without glitter thread. The coat was much more pea green than the lemony green it looked online.
