I got up at the butt crack of dawn, (west coast time), to try to log on and snag some of the Missoni line for Target, only to find the site completely crashed first thing this morning. Was anyone lucky enough to grab some things before they crashed, or fight for some stuff at the store? What did you get???

Skipped it because I wanted to be first in line for the Kardashian line at Sears!!!:laughing::laughing:

(not really)

Target website is still down, they must have been hit HARD!

I've been trying for an hour and a half. I could just drive over to Target later this morning after I take my daughter to school, but by that time it will be 9am and I'm afraid it will all be gone in the store.

I know this line is only available for a limited time( I think a little over a month), but why is everyone rushing out to buy it? What makes it so special that you think the Target store would be wiped out an hour after opening?

I've seen the commercials for Missoni at Target, but didn't realize there was a sense of urgency to buy, buy, buy:confused3

Is this yet another fad that I missed?

People crashed the site within 15 minutes of it opening, so there was quite a run on things.

Its the same designs as on the runway, normally sold at Saks and Nordstrom for hundreds of dollars at Target for $30-$50. I am in love with the sweater dresses, the rain boots, and the luggage. They also have a line of things for the home designed just for Target as well.

People already have things listed on ebay for 4 times as much as they bought it for at Target, but I'm not paying $150 for a $35 pair of rainboots.

Special guest designer lines sell out often at Target.

For those kind of prices, why not just buy real quality Missoni?

If someone told me that my response would be 'yeah right'. :lmao:

I was at our target at 8:10 (they open at 8) and EVERYTHING was already taken. People had carts full of stuff. Obviously not buying just for themselves.

I went to target this morning to get flashcards and I saw a woman with her cart overflowing with stuff! She had boots, clothes, pillows and she was looking at something in the beauty department that had the same pattern. I had no idea what I was missing!

It may be the same/similar type designs that you can get a Nordstrom and such, but it isn't the same quality. It isn't like you are going into Target and getting the exact same product that you would at Nordstrom.

I've never seen a guest designer line sell through 100% at Target, they have always had some of the products throughout the entire time frame that they have been scheduled to carry them.

Well, that's disappointing. I wanted a sweater dress and there's no way I can get to Target today. :( Maybe I can send my dh--he works right by there...

My sister is obsessed with buying this stuff. I find it all ugly, then again I don't like stripes...

I don't mind stripes but this stuff is definitely not for me. It looks like something my grandmother would have made out of old afghans back in the 70's.

As I had no clue what the fuss was all about, I had to take a look at the link.

About the only thing I would think about buying, was a couple of the winter hat and mitten sets. And only because they colors match my coat. Not much else is even close to my tastes.

But if it floats your boat, go for it.

The rainboots might be cute on a kid. :confused3
