Mission Space... Will I get sick?

I have vertigo and I thought for sure I would have problems. I went on it twice and was fine. Although I must admit I was feeling a little green around the gills later in the trip when we did it 4 times in a row!!

I was afraid I'd have to skip M:S, because I thought I'd get sick and claustrophobic. I ended up going on it, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought.
I didn't get sick at all, and I even kept turning my head to speak to my kids. I felt fine the whole time, and I was totally unaffected after. It's amazing how complex the human body is, how people can have such a variety of reactions to the same stimulus.

I guess ther'es no real way to know ahead of time how you'll react. According to my history, I should have thrown my guts up, had a massive headache, and had a panic attack from the closed-in space. But I didn't. Lucky for me, I think, since I was taking a big chance.

Rode MS in February, I'm not a coaster or thrill person. Age has changed how I feel about these rides.

The MS ride is a simulated ride, maybe because your standing instead of sitting the motion effects you more. It does give your stomach a little uneasy feeling. If you are prone to any kind of motion sickness this ride may bother your stomach. I did not care for the pressure feeling on my head. I was very light-headed after the ride.

I hate spinning rides as well, and I did MS. I could tell I was spinninga little bit, and felt a little queezy, but I made it through, and I'm glad I did! I went on Star Tours at MGM for the first time also in April, and that made me MORE queezy than MS did! The cool air blowing on your face helps alot, I think you should try it, good luck and have fun!

Even though I followed all of the suggestions, and go on everything at WDW, I still became ill on MS. Obviously many people do, since barf bags are now standard on al ride vehicles.

Never Again!
