Mission Space - Soft opening

What is a soft opening? We are going Sept 27 - Oct 4. And my DH is so looking forward to this ride. Will it be open?

Soft opening is when the ride opens basicly for Training Cast members on the ride and maybe testing a small change or two on the ride. The opening of the rides during the day are unannonced and open and close when they please. So there might be a chance that it is open when you get there, there might be a chance that it isnt going to open...

The ride officially opens for Guest Previews on August 15, so it'll be open when you are there.
