Just wondering everyones opinion on which is a more intense ride. Most of our family found dueling dragons at Universal too intense of a ride. Felt a little funny afterward.

Is Mission Space more or less intense?

These are entirely different kinds of attractions. I love Dueling Dragons, feel like I'm flying a dragon on Ice especially, so take my view with that in mind.
There are no inversions on Mission Space. I do feel pressure on my chest and face during "lift-off" and at one point later in the ride. I have not felt bad after any of the 4 times I've ridden it. And I'm someone who can no longer do tea-cups or tilt-a-whirls.
Follow the instructions to face forward, and I think you'll be fine.

I agree that you can't really compare the two. They're totally different rides. The closest I can come to a comparison is when you're falling off the building in the Spiderman ride, but then add the actual FEEL of it.

M:S is intense, but it's a fantastic attraction. Take some low drowsy Dramamine and keep your eyes on the screen if you're not sure how you'll do. It's well worth trying!

Like comparing apples to oranges. To me, Mission Space incorporates a thrill ride with education. Dueling Dragons is a rollercoaster. Both are great, but don't try to figure out if you would like one, if you liked the other... won't work. Visit both!!!

DH and I didn't think Mission Space was intense at all. We found it to be very mild and not at all like a roller coaster or thrill ride. It's more in the category of simulator... like Spiderman, Body Wars, Back to the Future, and Star Tours.

I agree that's it's apples and oranges. DD is a great thrill ride. M:S is a blast, too. If anyone in your group is claustrophobic, they may have a slight problem with M:S. Tell them to go for it. They'll be glad they did.

I would not consider MS "intense" although it is a wild ride. The difference is that you don't really sense the real motion with MS. DD is a wild roller coaster.

MS probably is more likely to make people feel funny due to motion sickness.

I rode the Hulk at IOA and my motion sickness was much worse than MS.
