Hey all I just found this pic on www.wdwmagic.com!

MISSIONSPACE_pod_interior.jpg

On the left are 4 seats with over the shoulder restraints and the control panels on the right supposedly move forward so each of the guests can take a turn "controlling" the ride....

Cool huh?

The update there states that in 1 of 4 ride bays, 1 of 10 ride pods within that bay is working. A VERY LIMITED number of guests are being asked to try the ride out to give the Imagineers suggestions. This is not a soft opening! If only 1 of 40 pods is in operation I would say there is still quite a bit of work left. But hey, on the positive side 1 of 40 pods is working! At least the actual ride is in some sort of operation

From the outside this attraction has looked ready to open for months. Hope we get to go inside soon :)

im surprised these pictures came out. you would think that disney would keep very tight wraps on that type of thing. Although they may want to get a hype up about it....

Anyone else think it's funny that the seating arrangement is so similar to the old Horizons attraction (4 seats, side-by-side, w/ lights and buttons in front of each passenger)?

I agree with Safari Steve 100%! The layout seems very similar to the old Horizon attraction...At the risk of being skewered by the Horizon lovers...I sure hope Mission Space offers a bit more excitement.

Thanks for posting the pic! Interesting.
