"By the way, did you take the rocking chair picture you said you needed to take this trip for some moron on line?"

:lmao:
OK, she set me straight by aiming me squarely at your TRs. I read some of the last one. And laughed. A lot. Pretty much uproariously.

I humbly beg your pardon for my ignorance of your ... well ... you, in general! I am evidently not reading all the TRs I should be - oh, and in my defense, your TRs are in the closed reports section. I never go there, it's scary!

Now, should you decide to write another TR, I think I can say with some certainty that I'll be there - with bells on! :thumbsup2

lisa... you really should start with the FIRST TR (If it's tues., this must be epcot.) it explains us and our.. um.. idiosin.... idiocyn... um... our weirdness.
(this is Mrs. Nebo)
yes, he should write another TR, but then we'd have to take another trip! (he's working on me on that)

welcome back monica!!!!!!

Monica!!!

Don't forget to start uploading your pics on MONDAY!!!! It's Sept 1st :rotfl:

Sorry this has been so crazy :upsidedow for you

We leave in 4 DAYS!!!!!!

:woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

Can't wait to read your TR!!

Thanks for the welcome backs. :worship:

Last night I finished the laundry and took everything we will be re-using in December and put them right back in the suitcases. :cool1:

That felt pretty good.:goodvibes

Now it's time to head to the dreaded grocery store. :scared1:

On Saturday. :scared1:

During a holiday weekend.:scared1:

Hope I return in one piece.

Good morning,

I will trade you going to the grocery store with me going to Michaels for DS's project for school. Yep we survived the first week of school, 3 tests and a project due on Tuesday. And on top of that, I got a new job, and Ds(18) leaves for college 1 week from today.

Goodness, Mr. Nebo, I had to go back and re-read that twice..For a second I thought Monica actually lost out on a night in the suite. You sure are a funny guy...:rotfl:

welcome back monica!!!!!!

I just found a link to the first TR over on the finding Nebo thread (I am reading it again as we speak...)

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1190096

Sorry, Mony, don't mean to hijack your thread, LOL. I am looking very much forward to your report.

Monica, great to have you back! I look forward to reading as much as you post before my trip in 3 wks!!! I am sooo excited I am already having trouble sleeping!!! ;)

BTW...I started reading Nebo's TR's awhile back, but was so intimidated :scared1: by the number of posts/pages that I gave up.:confused3 Maybe I should be brave and start them again!

Print them up, makes for great bathroom reading material!!!!

No really, worth every second.

Mony, you are lucky to leave when you did, it's been raining here all day today, and pretty hard too. Not good for the flooded areas (if they got it too). Very dreary.

Luckily, it looks like Hanna is going to stear away from us. Keep your fingers crossed, please.

On the subject of moving to Florida, one of our associates and his wife just moved back to Wisconsin. THey did not like Florida at all. It's green and brown in summer, and brown and green in winter. But really, the weather is great from about mid-October to April. I remember a great golf cart ride to lunch one January day, bright sun, blue as can be skies, mild temperaturs.

I hope you have great weather for your December trip. You just never know, it can be anything.

Good morning,

Goodness, Mr. Nebo, I had to go back and re-read that twice..For a second I thought Monica actually lost out on a night in the suite. You sure are a funny guy...:rotfl:

Beth, we are just going to have to wait to find out. My nightmare doesn't mean it wasn't reality too!

And Lizalongalashes, (something like that, geesh), thanks. I don't like going to the "Dead Pool" either.
But I did take a solemn oath to give Monica a hard time during her trip report. Please feel free to join me.

Sollemn.
Solemme. Crap. That's not right.
"I really MEANT it!"

Mony, you thinking of moving down there too? Yeah, I know that the weather has sucked lately, hurricanes will do that. But I also know that all day rains are pretty rare, and that's what I like. As you know in Michigan, there are times where you don't see the sun for a week!, same here in the Chicago area. And I HATE that. So I'll take the good with the bad.

Monica, I'll be good little poster, promise,,,:rolleyes1 sorry for taking the spotlight for a bit. So, for all of us,,,,,,,,,

BRING IT ON!:woohoo:

isn't that a GREAT feeling??!! even that dreaded "eviction notice" hanging on your door knob doesn't feel so bad! "we're coming back (in sing songy voice), sooner than you think... la la lee la la!"

Welcome back! Got to love coming back and having a trip on the ticker already, takes the sting out of it! Looking forward to your report!

Was it a blood oath? I can't remember.......I asked Tim this morning if his company has a hub in Florida. He said right in Orlando, 2 of em, and a distribution center. One can only dream sometimes. Every time I come back I want to move there.

I KNEW there was something that I missed! I know because there's a December trip this didn't faze us at all! In fact I kept telling the kids, although we don't get to do everything like on other trips, everything we do on this trip is just a bonus. Our real trip is in December.

Hi Allyson. Now I am actually looking at this ticker I never paid any attention to it before. Hey look 101 days!

Good morning,

I will trade you going to the grocery store with me going to Michaels for DS's project for school. Yep we survived the first week of school, 3 tests and a project due on Tuesday. And on top of that, I got a new job, and Ds(18) leaves for college 1 week from today.

Isn't he?

My kids go back this week and so do I. :scared1:

I was going to change my title to Mission Accomplished, but I really didn’t accomplish surprising the kids like it was intended.

They found out early and not the day of our actual trip as planned.

So, it stays, Mission Impossible II. The location has changed, but the title stays the same.

I’m no good at keeping secrets. If you have one, don’t tell me, cause I can’t wait to tell my best friends all the juicy stories I hear. At least I'm honest.

That’s why the mission is impossible. Heck, on this trip they found out we were flying again in December. Tim likes to keep them guessing and he wanted them to think we were driving. So, I’m just the person who keeps spoiling all the fun.........

We left the emptiness of our home, starving, and had a nice lunch at a coney island where I didn’t have to cook, or clean-up.

The kids scarffed their meals down in record time and we headed to our hotel.

Our room was very nice and the noise from the planes flying over head was not too bad.

The kids were anxious to swim; so swim we did. My plan was to let them tire themselves out.

Until they discovered THE HOT TUB.

FairfieldinPredisneyAugust2008015.jpg

The pool was very small; I mean some people’s bathtubs are probably bigger than this one. But they made up a game and would go from the hot tub to the pool, and from the pool but into the hot tub.

The pool felt freezing after being in the hot tub, and the hot tub felt very hot right after being in the pool.

Kids eat that stuff up.

After awhile I couldn’t watch, it made me dizzy.

In the end, they were tiring themselves out and that’s all I wanted.

We took a break, grabbed some dinner, and they came right back to play their silly game.

Then I had to break up their fun, make them come back to the room, SHOWER, and get in bed.

I am such a mean mom.

Ask them.

I watched the clock most of the night cause one of my kids was just too excited to sleep and it wasn’t the baby. She slept through the night, of course because mom wasn’t sleeping. My oldest couldn’t settle down. When my kids are awake I can’t sleep. They all have to be sleeping in order for me to fall asleep. I don’t know why, it’s just me.

4am came and I must have slept some because I remember hearing the shower running but didn’t hear Tim get out of bed. He wanted to sleep until 4:30?

I guess he was a little excited too.

Our goal was to catch the 5:30am shuttle. Which we did with only a 3-4 minute wait once we got outside. It was chilly and I had us all dressed for the Florida weather.

We breezed through the airport, with check-in and security. And once we got to our gate it was a mad house.

We found an area on the floor and claimed it as ours, set up camp and I let the baby have some freedom of movement since we were going to be attached to one another while on the plane for 2 ½ hours.

I made Tim change our seats on the plane from the middle row to the end row, because I had no idea how the baby was going to be on an airplane.

I just feared that she would be one of those kids who cried non-stop the entire plane ride. I was wrong. She was just perfect. And the people around us couldn’t get enough of her. Plus with the four kids, I envisioned them taking turns and having to get up to use the bathroom every 10 minutes.

Except for my motion sickness, everything went well.

But if you ask my oldest son Matt who sat inches away from the older lady who was sleeping; her snoring was AWEFUL!!!! I have to agree with him. She was sawing some serious logs.

I guess some people can sleep anywhere.

Up next: Our first time on Magical Express and some pixie dust

Uh huh, sure, you call it Magical Express now,,,,,wait till you do it backwards in a few days and see what you call it. I'm looking forward to your take on Sports, I liked the Homerun section and Surf's up, but you can keep the rest oof it. But you have kids with you and their enthusiasm can temper and adult's view. Nice start, Mony, I'll be waiting.......:surfweb:

yay.......you're off!!! can't wait to hear more. glad the baby was good on the plane. i'm sure having a fussy baby on a plane is just horrid!

no chance you'll get this thing done before i leave in 3 days? :rotfl2: just a little joke.
