Since I chose one of the last rows of the airplane, we were just about last getting off the aircraft.
In the past, if you gate check a stroller its waiting for you as you start to walk the tunnel to the terminal. Nope, not this time.
There was a pile of strollers we found a couple doors down.
I just thought that was weird.
We hit a little shop for some snacks. Because the boys remember doing that last time.
We skipped finding our luggage because we are too important for that and Disney is taking care of it.
We hopped on the people mover that took us to the main part of the airport and saw a full queue of people checking in with Magical Express.
I loved how they asked for only one member of the family to enter the line to check in. I ordered the rest of the clan to go sit down while I checked us in. The line really moved. All 15 stations were open directing all of us Disney bound vacationers which line to wait in next.
We got to walk the red carpet all the way to the right and wait some more.
Apparently we just missed the last bus to All Star Sports and how did the CM put it? Goofy was working on reinforcements and a jalopy of sorts would be on its way in a few hours. There was dead silence from us all until our brains caught on. What do you expect from a bunch of morans who get up on purpose at 4am to fly to Disney?
Then he rattled off a bunch of baseball scores. Which started a conversation between him and Zach cause he had to know if the Tigers won, which they didnt.
We arent talking much about the Tigers these days. Not much to talk about. But have you seen one of their new catchers that they brought up from Toledo? Rusty Ryan. Something very nice to look at, all 64 of him.
Where was I? The wait wasnt bad. 10 minutes probably. We walked outside to board the bus and that hot sticky humid Florida air hit me like a ton of bricks! ACK! Move the line quick and get me on the air conditioned bus! Which we were in just a few minutes. Whoa, Im gonna be in trouble with this heat.
By now, Im getting tired of holding the baby on my lap. And I know shes tired of me holding her on my lap. She needs to move.
Shes standing and bouncing around and the movie is moving us and we just cant wait to be king
.I mean at our resort and Disney delivers us right to the front door.
Did I mention how great it was to NOT have to get our luggage?
We walk into the main lobby which resembles just about all of the All-Star lobbies. I now have been in all of them.

The kids went right to the TV and I took my place in the check-in line with the baby. Tim went to inquire about the stroller that was waiting for us. I got into a double stroller swap and it was left for us with luggage services.
I couldnt help but just stand there and smile. We were here. We werent supposed to be here until December, and we are, but we were here now, in August. What a super cool bonus. Just beaming and it was my turn to check in.
She took my info and assigned us our rooms. I looked at it on a map and we were in Building 4 of the Tennis section. It looked like the back end of the resort on the map, but we would soon find out that anytime we walked somewhere it was only a few short minutes.
She confirmed the 2 rooms with a special cleaning for Matts allergies. I asked her if the front desk would intercept my Garden Grocer delivery since we will be in the park when it comes. She said yes. I also asked if they'd keep my milk cold too. Then a little pixie dust came our way and she comped us a fridge. She said it was because of the baby, but I knew that she knew that my family could use a little pixie dust. I asked her if the fridge came with the suite in Cinderellas Castle and we shared a laugh.
Since it was 1pmish our room wasnt ready which I anticipated. She handed me a card with a number to call after 4pm to get our room numbers. We condensed only the necessities into one bag, left the rest with luggage services, lubed everyone up with suntan lotion, and went to stand in line again, for a Magic Kingdom bus.
Up next: There's no crying in Disney World!!!!!
I will leave you with that. Sorry, but I didn't have any pictures to go along with this segment. But there are plenty more.
I just wanted to add this:
For those of you following my husband's situation he is going into the hospital early in the morning for another proceedure. He is having part of his rib removed so they can biopsy a lesion. He has some scattered on his ribs and they need to know exactly what they are. Since he has kidney cancer they have to assume that it is from that. They are not convinced since these lesions don't look like cancer on the films. So, if you can think of us tomorrow, say a prayer, I'd be so grateful.
