Mission Impossible II-Updated p.15 #212~ The last day of our mini surprise trip.

Hi Monica,
First chance I've had to do any SERIOUS reading. Great start. I tend to read trippios in spurts, but will try to keep up. Your kids are a lot of fun, and your tech skills intimidate me. Goog job so fah.

Nice start to your report, Mony!

My hubby is one of those people who can sleep ANYwhere too :rolleyes1 ZZZzzz . . .

Hi Monica,
your tech skills intimidate me. .

oh puhleease! now nebs and I will NEVEER be able to live with her!

the first night at the motel: isn't that great!!?? it could be a knight's inn or motel 6.. the pool could be dinky... but "you're ON VACATION!!!" I feel So rich! I know exactly how the kids felt, running back and forth between the little pool and the hot tub. (oh, are only kids supposed to do that?)

your kids look so cute... can I borrow them for our next trip? the baby is gorgeous!!! (as are you) . can't wait for the next installment! I am living vicariously through you!

oh yeah. as far as the dec trip: do the osbourne lights at mgm (ok, hollywood studios) as SOON in the trip as possible. we went earlier in our trip (with jluvsdisney and gang) I think it was dec 9. and pretty much got to walk around the 4 block(?) loop, back and forth, as much as we wanted. (about every 10-15 min. all the lights synchronize to christmas music). it gave us time to look for the hanakha (sp.) star of david, and the INFAMOUS black cat,and basically roam in awe. (and get lots of snow flakes(soap buds) in our hair(well, maybe not nebo). later in the trip we decided to go again(and saw longneckthree!)and it was WAY more crowded. CMs had you walking in one direction through the "loop", no turning back, and then starting all over again if you missed anything. you couldn't run back and forth like before.

yay.......you're off!!! can't wait to hear more. glad the baby was good on the plane. i'm sure having a fussy baby on a plane is just horrid!

no chance you'll get this thing done before i leave in 3 days? :rotfl2: just a little joke.

Not a chance with my class schedule and work load. But thanks for the laugh!

Serious? Nothing serious in this report.

My techie skills are usually gathered from countless hours on the phone with some tech support person. And anything I've retained is like a bad game of operator/telephone. In the end, I have no idea what I am talking about, but I sure make it sound like I do.

Nice start to your report, Mony!

Rows ahead of us were turning around to see who was causing all the noise. She was loud the entire flight.

I can meet you at the indiana/michigan border. ANYTIME!

We got sucked into the votex of the mob who was forced to walk the one way path. If you even tried to stop to take a picture, the CM's were all over you to "KEEP MOVING". So were my pictures. All blobs and blurs.

I'll keep your advice in mind for this trip Diane. Thanks.

Maybe inbetween studying flash cards I can get the next installment in this evening.

OK...you had a decent flight...you've landed in Orlando...Now What??? :confused3

I need more!!! I leave in 1 week and 5 days and am very anxious for a fix before I go!!

BTW...the baby has gotten sooo big!!!! :cutie:

I'm sorry, studying with a crying baby at your legs is very unproductive.

I always have the best intentions. I forsee some free time this evening.

Since I chose one of the last rows of the airplane, we were just about last getting off the aircraft.

In the past, if you gate check a stroller it’s waiting for you as you start to walk the tunnel to the terminal. Nope, not this time.

There was a pile of strollers we found a couple doors down.

I just thought that was weird.

We hit a little shop for some snacks. Because the boys remember doing that last time.

We skipped finding our luggage because we are too important for that and Disney is taking care of it.

We hopped on the people mover that took us to the main part of the airport and saw a full queue of people checking in with Magical Express.

I loved how they asked for only one member of the family to enter the line to check in. I ordered the rest of the clan to go sit down while I checked us in. The line really moved. All 15 stations were open directing all of us Disney bound vacationers which line to wait in next.

We got to walk the red carpet all the way to the right and wait some more.

Apparently we just missed the last bus to All Star Sports and how did the CM put it? Goofy was working on reinforcements and a jalopy of sorts would be on its way in a few hours. There was dead silence from us all until our brains caught on. What do you expect from a bunch of morans who get up on purpose at 4am to fly to Disney?

Then he rattled off a bunch of baseball scores. Which started a conversation between him and Zach cause he had to know if the Tigers won, which they didn’t.

We aren’t talking much about the Tigers these days. Not much to talk about. But have you seen one of their new catchers that they brought up from Toledo? Rusty Ryan. Something very nice to look at, all 6’4” of him.

Where was I? The wait wasn’t bad. 10 minutes probably. We walked outside to board the bus and that hot sticky humid Florida air hit me like a ton of bricks! ACK! Move the line quick and get me on the air conditioned bus! Which we were in just a few minutes. Whoa, I’m gonna be in trouble with this heat.

By now, I’m getting tired of holding the baby on my lap. And I know she’s tired of me holding her on my lap. She needs to move.

She’s standing and bouncing around and the movie is moving us and we just can’t wait to be king….I mean at our resort and Disney delivers us right to the front door.

Did I mention how great it was to NOT have to get our luggage?

We walk into the main lobby which resembles just about all of the All-Star lobbies. I now have been in all of them. :goodvibes The kids went right to the TV and I took my place in the check-in line with the baby. Tim went to inquire about the stroller that was waiting for us. I got into a double stroller swap and it was left for us with luggage services.

I couldn’t help but just stand there and smile. We were here. We weren’t supposed to be here until December, and we are, but we were here now, in August. What a super cool bonus. Just beaming and it was my turn to check in.

She took my info and assigned us our rooms. I looked at it on a map and we were in Building 4 of the Tennis section. It looked like the back end of the resort on the map, but we would soon find out that anytime we walked somewhere it was only a few short minutes.

She confirmed the 2 rooms with a special cleaning for Matt’s allergies. I asked her if the front desk would intercept my Garden Grocer delivery since we will be in the park when it comes. She said yes. I also asked if they'd keep my milk cold too. Then a little pixie dust came our way and she comped us a fridge. She said it was because of the baby, but I knew that she knew that my family could use a little pixie dust. I asked her if the fridge came with the suite in Cinderella’s Castle and we shared a laugh.

Since it was 1pmish our room wasn’t ready which I anticipated. She handed me a card with a number to call after 4pm to get our room numbers. We condensed only the necessities into one bag, left the rest with luggage services, lubed everyone up with suntan lotion, and went to stand in line again, for a Magic Kingdom bus.

Up next: There's no crying in Disney World!!!!!

I will leave you with that. Sorry, but I didn't have any pictures to go along with this segment. But there are plenty more.

I just wanted to add this:

For those of you following my husband's situation he is going into the hospital early in the morning for another proceedure. He is having part of his rib removed so they can biopsy a lesion. He has some scattered on his ribs and they need to know exactly what they are. Since he has kidney cancer they have to assume that it is from that. They are not convinced since these lesions don't look like cancer on the films. So, if you can think of us tomorrow, say a prayer, I'd be so grateful.

Mony, yay for the free fridge!

Prayeres and Pixie dust for Tim tomorrow!

Monica - yeah on the fridge, yeah for not waiting for your luggage. Tim is in my thoughts and prayers today.

Finally I made it over here!
Im soooo busy at work (by busy, I mean reading everyones TR's that I promised myself I'd read a month ago :rolleyes1 )

Great start Monica - Loved the video!

Good thoughts and extra pixiedust: for you and Tim today.

Monica - Praying that Tim's spots were from his fall and not more cancer. I said my prayer while in the shower this morning. I hope that poured some blessings on your family. Oh, I hope that wasn't TMI.

Oh, and I loved your first segment. Love that you got fridge pixie dust. :thumbsup2

Prayers for Tim's results and for strength for you.

Loved the first installment and I agree....There is NO crying in Disneyworld!! :thumbsup2
