Missing Yale student's body found

So incredibly sad...It's been a bad wedding weekend. This, and a local groom was on his way to a wedding day breakfast with his groomsmen and was killed in a car accident. The wedding became a memorial.

I "knew" him...heartbreaking....both cases.

This is so so sad.. at least they found her body.

Very tragic...her husband to be was in New York at the time she was killed. That's why he has been ruled out.

Goosebumps because I thought this might be what happened to her. :guilty:

Anyone else remember back a couple months ago in the news when they were searching for a cleaning woman in NYC, and finally found her body in an air conditioning duct? When they said this girl swiped her ID into the lab and then never came out, I wondered if it was the same type of crime and she was hidden in the building somewhere.

Now Godspeed to the investigators to find who did it.

I was reminded of the same story. No record of her leaving the building was huge. :( So incredibly sad. The groom's death also. :(

I read somewhere that a professor (hers?) was under suspicion because he canceled a class before she was declared missing. I thought that was odd. I wondered if she went to see him, maybe about a class and something happened? I guess there are a lot of possibilities.

Strange case. I hope they find her killer. I don't think they found the woman's killer in NYC, yet. I hope they do in her case as well.

There is apparently a suspect who failed a polygraph test, has defensive wounds (wouldn't it be the VICTIM who has defensive wounds?), and "a key piece of circumstantial evidence".

Not if the victim tried to fight back. "Defensive wounds" are characterized according to the type and location of the wound, indicating that the person was attempting to fend off a person or weapon, not according to the victim/attacker status of the person who received them.
