Missing 13 Month Annual Pass Promo by Two Weeks. Any Advice?

We have a trip booked next month from 1/21-1/31. We already bought our tickets and made fastpasses. The wife just gave the green light to book another trip for 2018, but we cannot go until the last week of Jan/early Feb. If we were to get an annual pass for two trips, it would likely save us over $1000 on tickets for a family of four. But the two week gap is causing all sorts of problems, so I have a few questions.

1)If we upgrade to an AP while we are there, the first day of use will be 1/21/17, so we would have to have our entire trip completed by 1/21/18. Since we will not be able to make it until 1/29/18 or 2/4/18, then it doesn’t make sense to upgrade. Any chance this promotion gets extended? (shot in the dark lol!)

2)So our next option is to just buy new annual passes with the 13 month promotion and add them to my MDE account. We would then bank our current tickets for who knows whenever and use the APs for both January trips. I just want to confirm that we would have to go to guest relations before our first park day and get them to prioritize the APs so the regular tickets don’t get used. Correct?

3)How does #2 work with fast passes? Would all my fast passes get transferred to the AP tickets? Is there anything special I need to know about this?

4)Would it be easier to set up the APs in a separate MDE? I know all about SDFP, but if it’s easier to keep the same MDE, I will do that.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

2) Move your regular tickets to a Ticket Saver Profile. Add on a fake person and reassign all the regular tickets to that fake ticket saver person. Keep the tickets linked there until you need to use them for a future trip. By doing this, you won't have to waste time at Guest Relations.

3) FPs are linked to your MDE account, not to specific tickets. As long as you have the correct number of entitlements linked to your MDE Profiles, you won't lose prebooked FPs.

We went to Disney earlier this month. We had 7 day park hoppers but decided to upgrade to annual passes once we got there because the timing (13 month pass) works out well for our trip next year. We simply went to guest services while we were at Epcot one morning and they upgraded our 7 day tickets to annual passes. We just had to pay the price difference between the 7 day hopper tickets and the annual pass. All of our fast passes remained the same for the rest of our trip. Hope this helps!
