Missed Payment??

I just checked my checking account and my February payment and dues were not withdrawn on the 15th of the month. Has anyone else had a problem with this? First time for me. I'm going to call Member Services right now.

I just signed up for dues payments this year (in January). The January and February payments were taken out early in the month but on odd days....I'm think like the 3rd and 8th. Maybe it takes a cycle to get everything on track. I would give them a call.

A second thought, could it be because the 15th was a Saturday and the 17th was a holiday? Maybe they will deduct them today?

The 15th was a Saturday and the 17th was a bank holiday. They should take it out today, the banks are open. I've had instances where they have taken it out a couple days late.

Looks like it came out this afternoon. I'm just surprised. It has always come out on the 15th regardless of what day the 15th fell on. Oh well, one more month down, too many more to go!

No, that is not true, it come out on the 15th but, if the 15th is a Sat. Sun, or Holiday, it comes out on the next legal banking day.

Uh oh, Gail. Are you catching the "tracking trivia/playing with numbers" disease that afflicts several of us DVC'ers? It can be a great way to proscratinate when there is real work to do.....or snow to shovel. LOL!

LOL, nope, I have had this "fetish for numbers" long before I joined the BB here. I save EVERYTHING on the off chance someone might need it someday. Happily, I keep pretty good records. It was looking up the dates that was a pain, thank goodness for Microsofts little calendar.

Gail is correct. The payment will come out on the 15th unless the 15th falls on a Sat/Sun/Holiday. If it does the payment comes out on the next day that the banks are open.

In this case, since the 15th was a Saturday and Monday was President's Day, the payments came out on Tuesday, the 18th.

Check again! They didn't forget to take our money. It was delayed due to the holiday.
