I think it is called the "Miss Daisy," but I am not sure. I am referring to the boat/splash play zone at Toontown. Anyway, when we were there in November it was closed. Does anyone know when it will reopen? And for those of you whose children have played there, how wet do they get? Do you pack a bathing suit, an extra t-shirt, or a towel?

Much thanks! ::MinnieMo

Don't know when it will reopen, but think of it as a little spray zone. There are little jets in the floor that randomly spurt water and there are some misters if I remember correctly. Unless your kids just sit on the jets they won't get very wet. No real need for swim suits for the Miss Daisy

They are currently building a new rest room right next to Donald's Boat (the "Miss Daisy"). The boat itself is not on a scheduled closure, it is being closed and opened spuratically based on the needs of the construction crew.

As far as how wet they get it depends on how long they play, some of the jets produce quite a bit of water. I have seen kids playing in their swim suits, but I don't think that is really necessary. I might bring a change of clothes in case the kids get uncomfortable being wet, but they won't walk away looking like they just came out of a pool :)

CDSTapisRouge, thanks for the info. Best of luck in your last 10 weeks before your little engineer arrives! :flower:
