My Trip Report - Part 3
Starring:
Me! Miss Cleo
My Best Friend - Renowned Pet Psychic Sonya
Well, I was sleeping soundly and at about 3am Sonya comes stumbling through the door. She looked HORRIBLE and she was NOT happy! Apparently, I'm not the ONLY one who was banned from DisneyWorld. Sonya decided to buy her way out of it and pay them off though. Must be nice to not be shut down by the FTC! I mean REALLY, how will you ever prove that people's pets don't really want to eat them while they sleep!
Anyway, I got up and snapped a picture of her really quick. This really made her mad but she deserved it for calling me all those horrible names. I promised her I wouldn't show anyone so she forgave me. I gave her a big hug and told her I had a surprise for her the next day. We went to sleep.
I woke up early to beat her to the bathroom and went down to get my cup of coffee. I had made arrangements for us to get a massage and facial at the Grand Floridian Spa that morning. Of course, I charged it to her credit card because I could never afford that type of indulgence. Besides, she won't even realize she paid for it until we get home. We arrived at the Grand Floridian and the attendant there kept giving me odd looks. I couldn't tell why she kept staring at me and started worrying if perhaps I had given her a bad vision. That doesn't happen very often but nobody is perfect. Even a great seer of all. As it turned out, she just wanted my autograph. Sonya got jealous that nobody recognized her and didn't speak to me while we got our massages. I love that woman but sometimes she can really be a baby! After that, I felt better about using her credit card to pay for it!
After our massages, we got on the bus for Animal Kingdom! Sonya was so excited she could barely contain herself. Since we had skipped breakfast, I was starving!! I decided to eat at Rainforest Cafe and Sonya tagged along. We were seated quickly and we both enjoyed the scenery. We were chatting when all of a sudden we heard the LOUDEST thunder and the lights started flickering! Sonya screamed and jumped out of her seat. I told her to sit her butt back down and to stop acting like a maniac! It was soon obvious that it was some sort of special effect in the restaurant. Well, it is nerveRACKING! The meals were good but I don't think either one of us will return until they end that doomsday sequence!
We arrived in the park and Sonya said she was getting mixed feelings about the animals. I said to her "If you get bad vibes, I don't want to hear about it woman...do you hear me?". She gave me a huff and stomped off with that damn dog of hers. I bought her a Princess pin trading lanyard and she forgave me. I figured she would like it since she acts like such a princess...I didn't tell her that though, of course.
We went down to watch the Lion King show and we both agreed that was great! We then went towards Africa to go on the Safari. We both argued through the entire ride whether or not the animals were real. I told her they were obviously real and she insisted they were robots. She yelled THEYYYY'RE PLAAAASTIC. The way everyone looked at her, I could tell I was right.
After that, we went towards Asia to ride Kali River Rapids. Sonya wasn't sure what the ride was and I told her it was called Kali River Rabbits. She fell for it and we took the beautiful walk through the queue. When she saw the rafts, I told her it was a boat ride to see the rabbits. She sighed in relief and climbed in. What a nice ride that was. The funniest part of the ride was when we took the big plunge and Sonya got DRENCHED. She looked so mad at me but I just reminded her that at least this time she isn't being pulled off the ride by security! As we walked off the ride she asked where the rabbits were. I just rolled my eyes and kept walking.
The rest of the day was boring because of Sonya and her crazy brain! We couldn't ride It's Tough To Be A Bug because she wasn't convinced it wasn't a water ride. We couldn't ride Dinosaur because she felt interplanetary guilt for their extinction. What? We watched the parade on our way out and we both enjoyed that.
For dinner we decided to go back to the hotel and spoil ourselves with room service. The next day is the day I decided to ditch Sonya and have some real fun!
Thank you for reading this far and I hope our experiences have helped you!
