I am proud of you

aww thanks Jill! I am hoping to pull 3-4 pounds this week. Then I will be what I weighed when I got pregnant with the 2nd!

So I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't cheat at all this week and I am down 8 pounds! WOW - It feels SO GOOD!!!!! I have really stuck to this low cholestrol diet. No sweets, No soda, No white breads or pastas... I have been eating Lot's of fruit and veggies and chicken.... Lot's of raw veggies and hummas, and apples and Peanut Butter... I can't believe how I don't even crave sweets.

We are getting ready for Toy Story Night. We will be ordering Pizza from "Pizza Planet" and I already made up a big yummy salad for me so there will be no temptation when the pizza arrives.

I will post some pics later. It is going to be such a fun night!! I went to the Party store and spent way too much money. I got the kids and their friends who are coming over each a toy story balloon and a cowboy hat! The table is all set up with our million of toy story toys.

WOW! Congratulations!!!! That is awesome!!!

Are you going to buy Ponyo? It is out this week. I found a $10 coupon online for the blu-ray with DVD. It is on sale through today at Target & Best Buy for $24.99 so $14.99 after coupon for both blu ray & DVD. It is really beautiful!!!!

Welcome to Day 7 of Mishaps & Magical Moments! Friday, February 5th, 2010​

I have 157 pictures uploading to photobucket so I think this day is going to take a few posts to get it all in!!

Our Plan had been to go to the Wave at 7:30 for breakfast but we were all tired and needed to get a little extra sleep! Instead Wayne went down to Captain Cook's and brought up some pasteries and coffee and hot chocolate for the kids. We got ready and hopped on the monorail and were at the MK in time for Rope Drop. The Rope Drop ceremony really gets you sooooooooo excited for your day at the park!!

The boys were planning out our day. They wanted to head to TomorrowLand and then ToonTown!

You can tell that we were leaving soon. We really were just relaxed and took our time heading to TomorrowLand. It was a really nice morning. We were stopped at one of the vacation club booths (so tempting!!!!) and Owen was decorating himself with stickers as we chatted away.

Up first.... Speedway! Owen and I rode together and OMG I thought he was going to throw up from laughing so hard. I was letting him steer the car so we just kept jerking forward and hitting the sides- he thought it was the BEST THING EVER!!!!

Up next.... Astro Orbiter. A Goody Favorite!! I don't know why because it is just a ride that spins in a circle, but we all LOVE this ride. The view is pretty cool too. Myles lost his hat but we got it after the ride.

We then headed to ToonTown because it was about to open at 10:00AM. The boys rode the Tea Cups again on the way because there was no wait!

First ride in ToonTown- and Owen's first time on a rollercoaster..... Goofy's Barncoaster! I don't have any good pics though. (Bad Mommy!!) I was actually on the phone trying to get us a lunch reservation for our last day. We tried everywhere and there was nothing open... Except for Whispering Canyon in Wilderness Lodge. We knew we were going to be at the MK so we thought that would be fun to try and we could take the boat over. Well the CM saw them having a blast and told them because there was no line they could stay on it and ride it as many times as they wanted. They rode it 4 times in a row!!!! The kids wanted more and Wayne had to say we have to go!

We stopped at Donald's Boat- Owen got soaked!!! But they loved it!

Up next..... Mickey's House! Owen is obsessed with shoes and he couldn't get over all Mickey's shoes!!

We then headed over to the train just as it was pulling up. We have never taken it and it was a really cool ride and we got to see the park from a different view!

It dropped us off in Adventure Land??? I cant remember but it is wherever Splash Mountain was. (That was closed but too cold anyway)

Myles and I did Tom Sawyer Island and Wayne and Owen headed over to Haunted Mansion.

Warning!!! Anyone with bad knees will want to avoid this one!!

We met back up with Owen and Daddy and heard this music/parade coming our way! It was Brer Rabbit!!! OMG My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE Brer Rabbit. They were so excited.

It was so fun, Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear and the Country Bears did this hoedown dance and then did some dancing with all the kids in the street... they all did the Hokey Pokey...it was great.

A show was starting and we ran in to get in before the doors closed and grabbed a seat in the back row at the Country Bears! I remember this show as a kid and was glad to be able to be back 30 years later and bring my own kids to it. It was sad to see people get up and leave during the show (many did) I don't know exactly what they were expecting!? Wayne said all my Dis friends would be mad at me for taking some pics in there but I had to get one of the girl bear on the swing!

We went on the Swiss Family TreeHouse (Wayne carried Owen - got a pretty good workout) and we were thinking that this was great to see in February but if it was really hot out, we would have needed a shower after it!

We could see some of the Move It Shake It Parade from up there!

Day 7 Continued......

We then headed to the Plaza for lunch. Owen and Myles split lunch (Owen had the tomato soup again and Myles had the PB&J sandwich. Wayne and I split lunch again too. We found that if we split lunches then we had extra credits for the signature 2TS Crredit Dinners and it worked out great and we didnt have to pay out of pocket for anything!! I didnt take pics, but I did take one of Myles dessert- it was SO CUTE!

After lunch we went on the TTA. We didnt get to go on this in May because it was closed.

We stopped by the castle to get a photo and headed to the monorail to go back to the Poly for a rest.

We hung out at the hotel and Owen napped and Myles and Daddy tried to go ride a racer but the skies turned dark and it it started pouring!! They hit the arcade instead! We had a very special night planned and were worried that it was not going to happen because of the rain. We called and they said it would still be happening. So, the boys got dressed and we headed down to Captain Cooks to grab a quick bite and then got on the monorail to get to the Contemporary.

All Ready!

We arrived around 6:30 for The Pirate & Pal's Cruise! The boys were soooo excited!!!

It was very cute. They have a little reception with lot's of snacks and drinks and then Captain Hook and Mr. Smee come out to greet the kids.

The two Pirates were both named Patch.

We were on the Captain Hook boat. Captain hook led us to the boat.

We took the boat out to the MK and the Pirate Patch, sang some songs and told some jokes. There was a couple celebrating their anniversary and he had us all sing Kiss the Girl and then made the man give his wife a big ole kiss. It was really sweet. I have to say I didnt like our Patch though! He knew it was Myles birthday and there was another boy who was celebrating his bday too, but he only paid attention to the other kid. He also gave out presents to the kids and my kids had their hands up the entire boat ride and he never called on them. At one point he said "who hasnt gotten a gift" and my kids and a few others raised their hands so he called on one other kid and then that was it. I could tell Myles was sad he didnt get called on or get a prize. These things just make me upset. I mean the prizes were NOTHING special... we had paid 50.00 per person for this, and you would think they would give all the kids a little something or none... but we still enjoyed the boat and the ride, and watching Wishes from the MK was so amazing!

The most amazing part was getting off the boat and meeting PETER PAN!!! Myles was in awe- so shy meeting his favorite character!!!!!

It was late and we had a great last day at the MK and on the Pirate boat!! Time to head back to the Poly for some MUCH needed rest! The sad feeling was starting to kick in... on the boat watching Wishes I realized this would be the last night we would see it and our last night in Disney!

Thanks Connie!! Yes it was a great day. The sun is shining today and it is going to be warmer! We are getting our taxes done and then seeing Alice in Wonderland this afternoon. Enjoy the weekend too!!

Great update! I haven't climbed the Swiss Family Treehouse in years. Maybe this will be the year we conquor it again!! I remember getting some great Castle pics at night from up there.

Emily loves Goofy's Barnstormer too! We rode it several times last year. She went on at 22 months in 2008 and when we got off she yelled, "wide gin!" (ride again) so we rode several times that year too!

One ride I have never been on in my 18ish trips to Disney is Astro Orbiter. Usually the line is long so we pass it up and say, maybe later! I'm putting it on my "must do" list this year!

The boys costumes are awesome, they look so cute! The cruise sounds like fun! I might have to think about adding that to our agenda! Although, I am also thinking about the sleigh ride at Fort Wilderness, but I'm not sure how cool that will be without snow!

I'm so happy you are sticking to your diet and seeing results! Keep up the good work!

I joined Weight Watchers and rewarded myself $10 Disney Dollars for every pound

That is a great idea. My wife and I are both doing the Weight Watchers thing as well. She is down 10 and I am at 20. We started in the middle of January. I am going to do the same for her for our trip in December. $10 in Disney Dollars / Gift Cards for every pound lost. Just wont tell her until we get there!

Welcome to the last day of Mishaps & Magical Moments!

Saturday, February 6th 2010

Today was the last day of the trip. We woke up to a very unfamiliar sight.... BRIGHT SUNSHINE! It was the first day we could actually hang out on the balcony and it was just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We called for Bell Services to come get our bags and we had received the night before, the Magical Express booklet that said to be ready at 6:15PM so we had the whole day! We had our traditional last day breakfast scheduled at Ohana. We also hadn't really planned much for this day and let the kids choose which park we went to. Ofcourse they wanted to go back to MK!

I LOVE this breakfast. The food is always so yummy and the coffee and the juice, all so delish!!

The characters are great too!!

All ready to start our day!

We got on the monorail and were at the MK around 10:00 or so. First thing we did was hit the barbershop to get the boys haircuts!! Now, they have NEVER been to a barber (except when Myles was 9 months old and got his first haircut here at Disney) They make me cut their hair and refuse to go to a Barber.... but for some reason Barber Shops are ok with them at Disney!

Owen LOVED it!

Myles not so much...

They came out great. I had told the lady this was Owen's first haircut ever by a barber and was hoping I could get him the ears that say "first haircut" but the lady wouldnt let me!! She said that is for babies only. Oh well!!

After the haircuts, we were walking around and we spotted some new faces!!

OMG!!! They were hysterical. THE BEST CHARACTERS I HAVE SEEN EVER!!! Lady Tremaine was SO SERIOUS and looks at Myles and asks him very sternly, "Is today really your Birthday, or did your parents make you lie?" When we were having them sign they looked and made sure Cinderella's signature wasn't on there.... they said they wouldn't have signed if it was At one point there was a bird that flew near them and Anastasia ran after the bird screaming at it.... Drizella kissed Owen and told us that she "marked him". Oh and they told the boys that when they got a little older they were going to marry them. It was SO funny... I can't really describe it, but I will remember them always.

We stopped by Pooh's Playground- My kids LOVE this playground. They ran around for 15 minutes or so and had a blast!

We saw Alice and the Queen of Hearts (Another new face for us)

We were having the best day! The sun was shining and it felt great.
