Misc THV question

Do they all have steep steps or just the handicap ones that will have ramps? I am considering a cash reservation here but my mother in law will be in a scooter but doesn't need to take an accessible unit from someone that does need all of the associated modifications. A few steps are fine for her but they look like a lot..

It looks, to me, like all the THV's are a 1/2 story off the ground. There will be, probably, one flight of steps. I'd go ahead and request the Handicapped Accessible villa if you think it might be an issue.

Each one is supposed to be approximately 9-10' off the ground, with some slight variations here and there.

If anything, Disney seems to have more accessible accommodations than guest need would dictate. Over the years I've read far more reports from people who didn't need HA and got it than vice-versa.

Four of the sixty treehouse villas have ramps. If you need one....just book it. The odds of there being four other parties staying there the same time as you who also need the accessible units seems pretty low to me.

Thanks everyone - I appreciate the quick responses and advice. I just didn't want to take it from someone that truly needed the internal accommodations.
