I plan to get this once this baby is born. They have a demo of it in my doctors office and I've heard that the 2 little strings hang out of the cervix. I'm the sort that doesn't like ANYTHING in there, I can feel anything and it bugs me. Would I feel these strings? I know that sounds silly, but i'm so worried about it.

I cannot "feel" the strings inside of me. I am supposed to check to make sure the strings are there once a month. I have a friend whose husband felt the strings (with a certain appendage in an intimate way ) and the doctor trimmed the strings up a bit for her.

That is one reason I am leaning towards doing it. Anyone have any bad side affects from using it?
