Maybe the DIS boards needs a special DIS forum where people can dis all that the things they DIS-like?

Okay, now I'll try and be serious.

Why put a "rant" in a forum about Theme Park Attractions and Strategies? Why not put it in a forum that deals specifically with things people aren't happy with? That way people can safely enter a forum and not have their happy bubbles popped.

I've seen other forums (on completely different topics) do this. People had concerns and criticism about something that they wanted to openly discuss. But they didn't want it getting in the way of the "I'm looking for help" questions. So they created a separate forum for that.

Although, if the DISboards creates a DISrant forum, they might have to purchase more server space. Just saying.

DIS also stands for DIScussion. this is a DISney DIScussion board. often the discussion about MSEP vs. Spectro comes up. it's ok to talk about it. if you see the word "rant" , (or words like complaint, concerns, etc) just don't open that thread.

for example, on the resorts forum you will see tons of threads praising a resort, and tons complaing they didn't like the same resort, and why. it actually can be helpful in choosing a resrt that fits your particular need or wants.

Since a few seem to only see the word "rant" and not see the word "minor" in the thread title, I changed it. My intention was not to rain on anyone's parade - so to speak.
