This is just maddening. At least with the CP packages we knew when it would likely open up based the last 3 years. Waiting for this everyday is driving me nuts.

Oh and they gave me the "check the disney blog" when I called about CP as well. I think that must be their new standard line.

I can't either...I do feel like I've been worn down a bit. Hope it opens Monday. What started out exciting and fun has become a great source of frustration. I realize that Disney has made no promises or even officially announced it yet but they have to know of the hundreds of phone calls Disney dining is receiving about this event. If they are worried about cm's being overwhelmed with calls why couldn't they at least open it for online ressies. Sorry...just venting.

I so agree. I don't see the point in drawing this out so long. & if it's not going to happen just come out & say so - sheesh. All it does is create frustration & resentment in your customers. I too am beyond frustrated with all these late releases. And this isn't even taking into consideration the fact that the final park hours won't even be finalized until a month out from our trips.

I feel worn down too. The constant checking here, MDE, Disney's website, and calling make it seem like it's too much work for one dining event. I'm wondering if it's worth my time anymore.

I just called twice and once spoke to someone who said she was asking her manager and came back with "no date set yet"....BUT THEN I got a super perky and helpful agent (I had some other dining I needed to take care of) and she said "well I can't tell you a date, but I do have a memo in front of me...just can't share the date yet". I said "Do I need to wake up super early August 3rd" and she said, I would wait 48 hours or so...wink wink
So...now I'm thinking the 5th is when it is coming out. Can anyone else update if they get similar information....PLEASE!!!

I agree with the hurry up and open. My thought is next Sunday is 90 days until the first available day....so maybe that is what they are waiting on?

Wouldn't be a very exciting announcement just to say hey we're adding special characters at dinner at H&V from now on and we're starting with Minnie's Holiday Dine but the thought crossed my mind.

Wouldn't be a very exciting announcement just to say hey we're adding special characters at dinner at H&V from now on and we're starting with Minnie's Holiday Dine but the thought crossed my mind.

They probably have a lot to announce about HS but will keep quiet on most of it.
