Any reviews? I head it was about the same as Chef Mickey's and nothing special? Therefore, I switched my Fantasmic package to Mama Melrose whom is always good to me!

The characters were fun and dressed so nice!
The food.....typical buffet food, nothing really special.

I myself haven't done it yet, nor do I think I will either. But I would have to guess it would be nothing more than your typical mass produced buffet fodder and nothing to get excited over. This also seems to be the opinion of the many reviews I have read about it as well. Again, I have not tried it but when it comes to WDW and buffets only Boma I would call very good and Biergarten as good. I think your decision to go with Mama Melrose was a wise one. :thumbsup2

We did the Christmas one and thought it was very good. The characters were fantastic in their new costumes. I thought the food was very good. We've done Chef Mickey's dinner once and I thought the Minnie's Holiday Dine was much better than that.

I would pick Minnie over Chef Mickey's hands down. We went in December, and the food at the buffet was the best I've had at a dinner buffet on property. It was much better than the dinner buffet at Chef Mickey's. We're going back in April, and I've booked it again.

I have this booked for my upcoming trip. Can't wait for the experience. I have a motto: "Any mean I don't have to cook for myself, tastes delicious!" I'm sure the food is good. H&V always gets negative reviews, but I never find anything to be bad there.

The characters were dressed in their best clothing, suits and dresses. The food was pretty good too. It was similar to Chef Mickeys, but was pretty fun as well. It was nice to try a different character meal. image.jpeg

I went to both Minnie's Holiday Dine (11/27) and Mama Melrose's (11/29) and the Minnie meal was way better. I had the chicken parm at MM, and it was nowhere near as good as it had been 2 years ago. I had booked the F! package at MM, but at the last minute we were able to change our Minnie meal to a F! package (used a DDP credit so was no additional cost). So when we got to MM (where we were paying OOP) I just told them we were no longer interested in the F! package. So we were able to just order/pay for exactly what we wanted.
