Minnie's Bed and Breakfast Recipe Box

Does anyone know what kind of material the Minnie's Bed and Breakfast receipe box is made out of? I am having second thoughts about purchasing it on my RSP if it is made out of cardboard. If it is metal, it would make a nice souvenir of the pin celebration. Any guesses? Thanks.
