Have you guys already seen these?
http://www.runningskirts.com/buy-skirts.html
Looks like they are backordered and only have the brief, though...

There is also a link on that page to inquire about group discounts...

Anyway, I saw a different running skort and I started surfing around... :surfweb:
I have two of the skirtsports with the shorts underneath. I like them, but I usually have to stop and fix the shorts about a mile into my run, but usually after that they're OK.
Have any of you tried these?
runningskirts
atalanta commitment skirt
golite calamity jane skirt

The atalanta commitment skirts caught my eye...

Lan - I have quite a few of the RunningSkirts.com ones with the briefs underneath and they are my favorites. I have tons of Skirts Sports ones but I've converted. The skirt is long enough that they are modest, so no worries about only having briefs underneath, and they are super comfy to run in.

If you want to read a review of a bunch of different running skirts check this link out:

I remember you had the running skirt collection! :woohoo:
I think the briefs would give me major chub rub. :scared1:

Do you have any of the runningskirts with the shorts underneath? I'm wondering if they ride up...:confused3

The running skirts skort looks interesting to me. I wonder the length of the shorts. While I like the skirt sport the shorts do ride up a bit and I find I need to make adjustments along the way. I did ask them at an expo if there were any plans to offer a little longer length like 1-2 inches would make me happier. They did not have plans for that at that time.

Looks like we should have a WISH Team jammie party.

The reviews Leana listed says the running skirts were the only ones that the shorts didn't ride up on her. I might have to give them a try. They do look short, but since I'm so short maybe it will be OK. The skirt sports are a tad too long for me. I find with the skirt sports the shorts ride up until I get a sweat going. :lmao: Then they stay in place. I had to walk over to the side though in my last race and adjust them, kind of a pain.

Shan - There is a sizing table at RunningSkirts and it tells you how long they are:

I think the atheltic skorts are actually longer than the Skirt Sports ones.

As for chub rub....trust me, if anyone gets a case of the rub it is me. But those skirts with the panties underneath and a lick of body glide - I have never had an issue. I think it helps that you don't have fabric getting in the way actually.

Anyhow, hope this helps!

Leana, thanks for the info.

I am going to have to look into this a bit more. Somehow though I just cannot picture me going w/o shorts. Seems too commando for me, and chub rubby. Might be something to look into though. Would be nice if a sale were around. I could experiment for a better price. You are right about the clothing causing the rub. Problem for me though is sweating off the body glide I think.

Shan if the skirt sports are long on you I am thinking here that the running skirts would be at least the same length. They look like it. If not that would so not work for me and the long legs here.

I saw the minnie skirt up close and personal at the DL half expo in sept. It is so cute! I emailed them in sept and asked if they had any plans to make that pattern in the skort. They said they did and to keep checking their website....

I agree with you Shan about the chub rub. I have a skirt sport marathon girl and even with the body glide - I rub. I just stitch my skorts on the inseam to make them a little tighter and then put body glide to keep them in place. I don't have a problem anymore.

Cool! I'll keep an eye out then for the minnie skort! :woohoo:

That is exciting! How cute! I would definately have the chub rub too! Need the shorts... no briefs for me! lol!!! Hopefully they'll have them out in time to be able to order for May!!! Yippee!

I have the Minnie Running Skirt and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It is my reminder on my long runs of why I am in so much pain. And I have VERY sensitive skin and Body Glide has been my bestfriend.
