Can anyone tell me what characters we may see at Minnie and Friend breakfast? Thanks.

I have not eaten there yet - I have been debating on whether to include it in our upcoming trip or not. But according to people on DISboards and photos I have seen, I think that the Pooh characters are often there - Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Pooh - and Captain Hook is there a lot. Also, Minnie, of course. Sometimes the Fairy Godmother. And I am sure more folks will post with additional characters who show up at Minnie and Friends. It seems to be a pretty good character selection, I think!

Oh boy, it's been 7 months...maybe 8, let's see what I can remember....

We saw
Alice,
Mad Hatter
Chip & Dale
Eeyore
Gideon (from Pinocchio)
Gepetto
Captain Hook
That's all I can remember now but I'm sure there was more.....

We were there last month, we saw

The Fairy Godmother
Minnie
Pooh
Eeyore
Capt Hook
Chip & Dale
Geppeto

Have fun!

Here is a video of our trip last May that shows most of the characters that came to our table and interacted with our DD. Be sure to click on "watch in high quality" after the video starts. It looks a lot better.

We mostly saw Minnie (a lot), Captain Hook, Gepetto, Pooh, Tigger, and Chip and/or Dale. I think they might swap certain characters out every so often.

On November 1 we saw Minnie, Hook, Tigger, Pooh, Chip & Dale.

When is the first ADR for this? Can you do it before the parks open like Crystal Palace in WDW so you can get a "jump" on rope drop?

When we went, we saw Baloo, Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, Captain Hook, Minnie, Pooh, and Chip and Dale.

Hmm, we saw Minnie, Eeyore, Pooh, Cinderella and the Mad Hatter, Chip and Dale, and Max.

I don't recall it offering early PS like WDW. I think they start during the 9am hour. Week of halloween we saw Minnie, Pooh, tigger, Capt Hook, Fairy Godmother, and Chip & Dale. We love Minnies it's our second fav b-fast with Goofy's coming in first and storytellers 3rd.

We got the lastest seating available so I don't know when it opens but when you call Disney Dining they will tell you.

They must start before park opening at least occassionally. I remember seeing a "Minnie's breakfast" sign when we waited in line for entry, like 30 minutes before the park opened. Also they guided people there when we were waiting for rope drop.

We did Minnie's Breakfast for the first time on November 1, and truthfully speaking it was our least favorite of all meals.

I didn't particularly care about the food, most of it was cold anyway.
The character interaction we got was very short, that was if we got some. Pooh completely skipped our table. I pointed this out to the CMs in character handler outfit who were present, was told he'd come back, but he didn't. They were pretty much all just standing around gossipping instead of paying attention to their charges.

Don't get a late seating, characters may leave for the castle ceremony and not come back in time. That's what happened to us with Chip & Dale.
We were told by the CMs they would be back an we'd meet them, but they weren't.
Chip came to our table after I gave an excited squeal when he came back in, I'm guessing he must have either seen or heard me. Dale went to a family's table and then went backstage without even coming near us.

I had been warned by friends who reported bad experiences in September and October, and I must say at least mine was not as bad as theirs were. But still it will make me think twice if I'll go back next year.

You just basically described our experience at Goofy's Kitchen which made us never want to go back. Our experience at Minnie's was the exact opposite and we did have the latest seating!! When I made the PS I was warned that the characters may have to leave to get ready for other appearances but man, we saw everyone and they spent so much time with us. Chip & Dale were at our table for soooooooo long.....they played with the kids and then they played with DBF too. LOL They kept taking his hat and putting it on and playing with it, they were hilarious. Captain Hook kept flirting with me and Alice and the Mad Hatter were over at our table for a long time as well. I really think it's just mostly hit or miss on most character meals, the only one that's been really consistent (and we've eaten there a LOT with 2 girls) is Ariel's Grotto. Everytime we've had great interactions with the Princesses.

At least you got a warning, nobody told us. ;)

One of my friends is a really big Chip & Dale fan, so this was a major disappointment for her.

I know most meals are hit and miss, but that one was definitely one strike out for Minnie, while we went to Goofy's three times and it couldn't have worked out better. :confused3

It wasn't that bad that I'd personally say I'd never go again. But I know I will have trouble getting my friends to consider this one next year, especially because we all thought the food was the least preferable of all character meals.

I do agree with you on Ariel's though, that's been the same for us both times character-wise. Not exceptional, but it was okay and understandable seeing we were an all adults group. Also the food improved a lot.

We also had a bad M&F experience on Halloween. Saw tons of characters as we were being shepherded from the checkin to the photo station and then shown to our seats around 10:15. They included Minnie, Hook, Tigger, Eeyore, a Mary Poppins Penguin, Gepetto and some others.

But then we waited 45 minutes with only a brief visit from Gepetto, and my DH missed it as he was off getting food at that point. I then went to the main character wrangler to ask if anyone else was going to come out since NO ONE in our area had seen any characters.

Eventually they sent Tigger, Eeyore, Chip and Dale out to us. Minnie also came out, but did not visit our table. The character handler was very nice, but it took us staying well over an hour to see characters.

We are big fans of the Lilo and Stitch breakfast and this was our first M&F experience, and I was pretty disappointed in both the food and the character interactions when comparing the two. But, we will be at DL on Christmas Day and I went ahead and booked M&F again since I have heard that if you leave the park you may not get back in again, so it seemed like the best option that day. So, hopefully we'll have a better experience this time!
