I'm in This is probably the craziest thing I've ever done! I am flying out of Indy after the half on Saturday to do the Minnie 15K on Sunday

You know, before WISH I used to be a sane, responsible accountant. Now just the hint of a fun event and I am there

I can't wait!

Wow! As a newbie, I have to say I'm really impressed. The Minnie is my first ever event, so I hope to be able to say "HI'.

Ut oh, this one's metally damaged before coming to us. lol. On teh serious side, do anythign you can to meet WISHers Minnie weekend. You can develp major bonds w/o knowing teh face, but once you do know the face, it's even more incredible. EVen if it's just finding us before or after the race (not hard to follow the glow), make sure you introduce yourself. You won't regret it!

Yikes, end of JAn i scomign quickly, isn't it? I'd liek to wait to see what teh new, lightere tech material shirts will be like so people can decide what they want. I will make sure that an order is put in so that we can have shirts by Minnie, though.

My first laugh of the day! Love it! I will definitely to introduce myself to fellow Wishers. Although I normally tend to hang back a bit, the people on these boards make everyone feel very welcome.

Susan already has a room booked at Pop and I have to book mine there too since DH (ray) is currently planning on the 15K.

Pat you know we'll all be watching for AP rates and I'd like to point out that in addition to Carrie's $5 a day lotto ticket comparasion you are also a AP holder and it's economically the thing to do to get as much use out of that pass as possible.

Carrie I will need to order another one or 2 WISH tech shirts. I plan on doing both the 5K & 15K although I have to hand over the cash to Disney for the 5K. Also I need to get Cathy a WISH tech shirt as Ray had a horrible time picking her out of the Full crowd in her pretty pink shirt. And if Ray DOES do the 15K he needs to wear our racing colors

I have to update my own countdown but Susan has how many days till we are all at Disney again

BTW we are planning on flying down on the Thursday (5/1?) and flying home Monday (day after race) but on Monday we will be doing either morning or early afternoon. Thursday we should be on property by 11 am I think

I just wanted to make sure everyone knew about Anthony Travel, the official agency designated by Disney to handle bookings thru Disney's Minnie Marathon website.

They are offering room only rates at All Star Sports for $89 per night and Coronado Springs for $125 per night. Those are great rates (esp for Coronado)...just wanted to make sure everyone was aware :

Ok...so we are covered for the 5K as the whole family is going...but...the 15K...

Did I read somewhere that the Disney is NOT providing transport to the Minnie events??? DH and I are doing the 15K and the family will come to cheer us on, but there is no need for them to have to get there as early as us. How are we supposed to get to the event? We are flying so we have no ground transport...

Did I miss something or is this really the case?
