Minivan rentals going up for June?

I've been checking on minivan rentals (to drive from PA to FL) for early June for almost 2 months now. I have been hoping that they will go down. For the first time this past weekend, they actually seem to be going up! Has anyone else noticed that?!

With the Walmart ID (for free driver) and the $25 off coupon (from Mousesavers) I get a rate of 455.xx on Alamo for a minivan from June 7-17. The time doesn't exactly matter....I used noon both days just to make it easier.

Avis, Budget, National, Hertz, and Enterprise were all even more expensive. There are no Dollars or Thriftys near us.

I guess I have to just keep checking and hope for the best! I'm glad that I reserved one at the 455 though, because now the cheapest that I can find is 513.

I need 4 days in Aug and haven't found anything with-in reason. I'm going to go ahead and book something soon as we are going to Vero for this trip and need something.

It's all supply and demand and we demand they supply us with a van so it's going to cost us.
