Minions EP line got fart gunned

Not sure when it happened. But the minion EP line has changed. EP line no longer runs on the outside of the building. Instead, it now mixes in with the regular muggle line similar to the way hulk is.

Yeah the new line stinks in my opinion. What's the point of EP if you end up waiting in the regular line anyway?

It merges into the last row against the building under the awning. The EP line on Hulk has improved and no longer merges like it did since the rehab a few years ago. It now is EP all the way to the loading platform.

Well, with that and the removal of the 3D glasses, I guess I won't waste my time anymore on Minions, unless I can just walk right on.

Does anyone know why they did away with the 3D aspect of the ride? Seems an odd move to make.

There is actually a post on the forum going on about it now. The post started awhile back since originally there were rumors of it happening here since Hollywood had done it allegedly due to complaints with the children not being able to handle it / not liking to wear the "googles". The post was revived recently when it was reported it now is official that it has now happened and now debating on whether it will still be good regardless of losing the 3D element, or that it will lose some of it's fun factor due to the loss of the 3D element.

That being said, I've only ridden on it twice, both times only due to low wait times when the park first opens (never watched the films). If I ride it again, it'll have to be during another low wait time and ride it out of curiosity on how much of an impact the loss of 3D is.

@macraven is also right in a way, as it might not be the reason, but it definitely is going to be less to operate the ride (no more 3D projector, no more glasses to upkeep, so less staff to handle those glasses).
