Hi everyone! :goodvibes

I was wondering how children fit into a Wishes wedding. I realize that all ages count towards the guest count, but what about the $75/pp minimums? Is it $75/pp no matter what age? Or are there different prices for kids? We are going for a buffet and a dessert party, so I'm not sure how that would work... any help would be greatly appreciated! :worship:

Thank you!!! :thumbsup2

No, I don't believe there are minimums for children. On our BEO the price for our children's meal is about $30 and we have 2 infants and they get Mickey roni and cheese at no cost. HTH

Kids don't have to meet the $75 pp minimum cuz they can't drink alcohol. Disney can give you a cheaper menu for the kids or charge you a reduced rate per kid for the buffet.

However, they do have to meet the $22 pp minimum for dessert parties. Which isn't too difficult.....

The children 4-up attending my wedding are getting the Gus and Jaq Kids meal which is $25.00 each. The kids 0-3 are free but count as a guest. Which is MUCHHHHH cheaper than the adults dinners which are $109.00/per person. Maybe I should have invited all kids!? :rotfl:

The kids 4 and up are being charged for the viewing fee at the dessert party as well as the adult price for the dessert party food.

Thanks everyone! :thumbsup2

A reduced price does help, but it's still cost that could add up... I'm in a bit of a tough spot because we want to invite three friends, but each of these friends have girlfriends and/or kids we've never met. I may have to be mean  and make it clear that just the friends are invited to the actual wedding. No strangers allowed! ;)

Has anyone done this before? How did you word the invites etc? Did you mention that Disney provides babysitting at a cost?

We were really trying to limit our invites. My DF's niece has two boys (2 and 5 year olds) - the 5 year old is the ringbearer in his brother is also coming to the wedding.

We have one friend (one of DF's groomsmen) that has a 8 year old. The parents have already asked us about babysitting services as the dad will be involved with the wedding.

I had one or two friends ask about bringing their teenage kids (that I really do not know). I felt really bad but told them that at this point we were only asking the adults. As it is, my DF and I stopped at first cousins - we are not inviting any kids of our first cousing - most of them are in their 20's and some even have their own kids.

Once we got our final number we actually went back and told one or two of our friends that at this point we had our final number and they could bring their child if they wanted to. One decided to bring their 14 year old girl.
