Minimum Age for Lead Guest with Younger Siblings

So... I know if you're under 21 (18 or over) you can be lead guest in a cabin if you're married. What if your family is really large and needs two cabins? Could a 19 year old be lead guest with siblings who are 18, 17, and 13?

No. If there are children under 17 in the cabin there needs to be an adult 21 or older booked in the cabin.

That's just for booking. They don't really care who sleeps where once you're onboard.

That's what I thought! I called DCL to ask but the wait time is really long and thought DISboards would give me a quicker answer!

AFAIK, the lead guest has to be 21 in order to have minors in the room with them.

I found this response on an older thread:

You can book a stateroom if you are 18 or older... however... minors UNDER 18 have to be booked into a stateroom with at least one adult who is either their parent, legal guardian, or over 21 years of age.

You either have to be over 18 without minors, or 21 with minors... There is no marriage requirement.

Yeah, it seems like the easy solution is to book an adult in each room but divvy up the rooms as you wish once you get on board.
