When we bought our new, used SUV a year ago, we negotiated with the dealer for a DVD system. Ended up we only had to pay half the cost for it.

Kids use it almost every drive we take and I imagine it will come in handy when we drive to WDW in 2 weeks.

Best $350 I ever spent!

I would suggest going the portable route. Check out Sams club, last time i went they had 2 portable dvd players with headrest mount for a decent price.

You can also get a 12v car power strip so you can plug in all the dvd players + cellphone + accessories.

We negotiated our in too. Got the price down on the van to where we wanted it and then said install the DVD player without changing this price and we're sold. At first they said no way, but when we actually walked out, they called us back and changed their minds.

It has the wireless headphone so the adults don't have to listen to the movies all the time. We only use those on long car rides though.
