Can someone tell me about mini-golf at WDW? Are there any other coupons other than the ones that come in the mailing? I don't know if we will get a coupon book since we rented DVC points. I know that the mailing one is good for 1 person only. Can you collect other people's coupons and use them? There would be 3 of us golfing.

How about off site mini-golf? We will have a car and I'm not opposed to travelling to do it if it will save me some money.

It would be nice to take just my girls to do something special with them and leave DBF with his daughter to do something.

We always do mini golf at Fantasia Gardens or at Winter Summerland by Blizzard Beach. As far as mini golf is concerned Disney Mini golf is pricey. I can't find my reciept, I think $12 for adults $10 for kids plus tax. If you don't have a large family it won't break the bank, but Pirate Cove in the Crossroads pLaza near DTD is much less expensive.
You will not get a coupon book with rented DVC points since the coupon books are from CRO.

In the past my daughter & I have played Pirate's Cove mini golf at 12545 SR 535
Lake Buena Vista....I think it was about $10 per person-18holes-choice of 2 courses.

The only discount i'm aware of for Disney owned mini golf courses are the 10% off you get for being a DVC member or owning an annual pass. Both courses have 2 different 18 hole courses and after the first full priced round you get half off the next round on the same day. Also for completing both courses at each location you get a specialty mini golf ball with a disney character on it. You can walk to Fantasia Gardens from the Boardwalk / Yacht Club / Beach Club / Swan & Dolphin, Blizzard Beach you have to take a bus that is shared with Animal Kingdom, it's important to note that it's harder to get a bus (atleast we've found) after 5 - when animal kingdom closes to Blizzard Beach so we try and do that early morning as it is REALLY hot in the afternoon with little shade. Hope that helps. :goodvibes

I have NO IDEA if this is still the case, but I remember for many years looking through the various WDW guide books at Barnes & Noble and seeing mini golf coupons in the back. I am thinking it might have been Birnbaum's official guide??? If anyone checks the new guidebooks in the near future, would you post back to this thread? I would love to know...

i thought i read the AP discount was 50%? (the CM % is, btw)

and we have a nice collection of the golf balls. each time we play either course, we received one per person playing - they are a really cute souvie :)

AP is still 50% discount

DH and I have done both courses at Winter Summerland and love them both. Not so much Fantasia Gardens. We've only done one course there and didn't really care for it. It is pricey, but we enjoyed it.

This might have changed. In January you only got the golf ball if you got a hole in one on a certain hole (they didn't tell you which hole until you returned the clubs) and we had to ask about it since they didn't say anything about the golf ball. I happened to get a hole in one at that specific hole.

I remember awhile back that when you got a hole in one in the specific hole you'd get one of the mini golf places refillable soda/drink mugs but not anymore. I still have both mugs haha And I am 100% positive the CM that gave us the balls said it was for doing both courses in one day she didn't even see our score card. I'm not saying they aren't still doing that just saying that's how we got ours.
And I'm sorry you guys are right I totally forgot that it's 50% off for AP holders but only for 3 people - And since we only had one person with the AP and a group of 5 we used the DVC discount for the rest - my mistake.
