We are having a mini meet this weekend!!!!!!
Today at 6pm (local time) Becx and Gav arrive at the airport and there are staying this weekend

We are going to have a blast together

my mom's going to be there on tuesday - doing her bi-monthly 12 hour layover in schiphol.....

i don't usually fly that route - but every now and then i do....maybe we can get together the next time i do...

Mini DIS meet Trip Report.


Yesterday at 6pm we picked Becx and Gav up at the airport.
When they came true customs we hugged and laughed already.....

We went to Starbucks for a proper cup of coffee.
The first photos where taken here.
When we walked to the car we stopped at the Crocs store but there wasn't anything interesting, they even sold some wierd stuff (read Universal stuff).

Then we went on our way to home, we stopped to have something to eat.
Typical Dutch food, Kroketten, kaassouffle, french fries and burgers.
After our meal we went to our home.
I think they think that we have a pretty big house
We do have a very nice house, it's small for amrican standards but it has 3 levels.

We hang out together until somewhere 1am i think, just talking, laughing and enjoying our selfes very much.

Today we are going to Amsterdam so i will write a new report tomorrow.

i'm enjoying the mini-report!! and i'm looking forward to PICTURES!!!

last time i flew that route was almost 2 years ago!
it was in December...
DD and i took the train into town - amusingly, everyone on the train was a tourist and none of us knew if we were on the rigth train, going the right way, where to get off, etc etc...
everyone kept asking everyone else - with the same shrugged shoulder response...
but in the end, it was obvious where to get off the train..
we walked across the street to the first boat tour and got on....
after that we ate, on some street a short walk from the train station (a street only for pedestrians)...
we planned on walking around a bit after lunch, but it was just too cold for us, so we hopped back on the train to schiphol and spent the rest of the day in the lounge until our 9:30 pm flight...

we only spent about 3 hours in town, but what we saw was beautiful!
