Mingos in the Watah! What in the Wuhld?

I really have been! I'm trying to--it can be hard at times!

-I really wish ALL vending machines looked like that!!!
-The Mickey Mummy Cookie is Adorable!
-I could totally go for a Mickey bar right now!
-I also LOVE the white chocolate pretzels! I always buy a few bags to bring back for snacks until my next trip!
-I have that lime green kitchen towel and LOVE it! I can't wait to go back and buy it in the other colors!!!

I have a few Disney kitchen tools, but no dish towels yet.

Here too.

Sounds like you did well. We have a similar sytem for raises when we actually get them. There is a range but to get near the highest you need to walk on water and it is so frustrating when you are told that your work is great but it is your job so can't be exemplary so you get lumped in with meets expectations. :sad2:

I applaud you for being "above the average" when those in charge "grade" in a bell curve. ;)

Just what you need. NO school work.

I hope you enjoyed your ice cream. :upsidedow

There were 12 points to be reviewed. She was able to check off that she had seen all of them covered, so that's good. As long as I stay away from the 1's column, I am happy. I'm still just average overall, but I got enough 4's sprinkled in to make me okay with it.

Here is a picture of Matilda. She is doing so much better today. She had her drains removed and the doctor said that she is healing nicely. She doesn't have to wear the e-collar anymore. This is good because she figured out a way to escape it and wouldn't keep it on. We investigated the area where she got hurt. It is in our backyard. My husband is in construction and has heavy equipment trailers that haul all his tractors. Apparently, she didn't see it since it was so dark and ran right under the corner where a v-shape piece of metal sticks out from the taillight. She just caught her back on it and tore it open. When she goes outside now, she won't go anywhere near that side of the yard. I don't blame her.

Warning.......This next picture is kinda gross. It shows Matilda with her stitches and drains but it is the one where she looks like she had her head stuck in a lamp shade. She hated the e-collar and wouldn't pick her head up. It was kinda funny.

Oh poor furbaby. A cone of shame indeed. I am glad you found out what she got caught on. I am so glad the vet was able to fix her up . That is a huge area.

That is a horrible gash on her back! Poor girl.....
I'm glad she is doing better!

That poor girl had a reason to be yelping! She got a bad, bad cut, didn't she? I am so glad you guys were there to get her immediate attention. I am very happy that the cone is off of her neck, too!

In a few minutes, we will go through this tunnel.

While we wait, we will have a little breakfast. :)

DisneySummer20112ndset797.jpg

Bella took the paci out for a Mickey waffle.

DisneySummer20112ndset798.jpg

As of mid-October, Bella is now paci free. The day Brooklynn and I left for Disney World was her last day with it. Jill had planned that she would put her pacifiers in a box and have the Paci Fairy come and leave Bella a toy in exchange. She wanted to do it when it didn't affect Brooklynn's sleep for school, in case Bella stayed awake crying for a long time the first night or two, so our departure worked perfectly for her. In the end, she said Bella was very excited about the Paci Fairy, and she only cried for a few minutes. Jill posted a picture on FB of what the Paci Fairy left, I think. I know she sent me a picture in WDW.

Looks like we will have plenty of company in the park today.

Have a good Saturday, DIS friends!

Poor Matilda! That is a nasty gash. I'm glad she is healing up well and does not need the cone of shame anymore. :thumbsup2

Do any of us know the back story on that CM in Fantasyland? I see him on all of my trips and always wonder if he has worked there for a long time or just retired to Disney.

I love the girls outfits on this day, very cute indeed.

I asked him in October, actually, and he said he has been there ten years.

Nice start to the day; it didn't look too crowded in Fantasyland.

Your second last picture made me think of AK when the EE construction was going on, except this construction was quite as tall.

I love the picture with Chip and Dale with the castle behind them. A very creative shot. Also the picture with the family walking towards Pinnochio is adorable. The little girl is grinning ear to ear and it is just precious. You can really see the excitement in her face.

I can't believe I haven't been on here since Monday morning! What a crazy week! Anyway, I am so glad your observation went well, MeMom -- it sounds like a great lesson.

Reelmom, so glad Matilda is doing better -- poor puppy -- I don't blame her for not going near that side of the yard. Our dogs are part of our family, too, so I can completely understand your anguish!

MeMom, love mornings full of Pop breakfasts and MK fun! Not to mention, I loved all the Trunk or Treat pics!

MeMom! What a great idea that Trunk or Treat! So fun!! And I spied those sprinkles when we were at WOD, and I ALMOST bought some!!!! I should have!!! I need to get me some more for Christmas! I am almost out!! BUT not out enough that I won't use them... I have been known to do that... :rolleyes1

I am slowly reading along, you know!!! Honestly, I don't know where the month of October went!!!!

Great idea to have breakfast at rope drop! Love the almost-empty park pics.

Who were all those people in yellow shirts?

I have to comment on the paci. Katie had hers until she was almost 3 and would not let go until we mailed it to Mickey Mouse. Then she was done! Like magic!

Memom- I am glad that your scores allowed you to celebrate with ice cream--I'm sure they were still too low...

Thanks for the walk into MK! I am very excited for the new Fantasyland, but the old one is quite magical. I wonder if the CMs welcoming everyone each morning get chills...I know I would. (Heck, I might get all teary eyed too...)

I always love seeing pics of Pop - I think they have an awesome gift shop. I am excited to check it out in person.

Reelmom- poor Matilda. I hope she recovers quickly.

MweMom I am so happy your evaluation went well. I know that is a big weight off you. Enjoy a relaxing weekend!

Reelmom- I hope matilda feels better soon. poor puppy!

Congrats on your evaluation!

Aw, I love all the Magic Kingdom pictures. Why can't I be there right now? Life's just not fair. :rotfl: Bella is seriously precious! She always looks so happy.
I wonder where you went next? :)

Hi back! Ty will be 3 April 8th. I got to meet Miss Brooklynn and MeMom last month at MK. We will all have to have a Memphis Zoo meet next spring. How old is your little one?

We'll have to make sure our paths cross in WDW. :goodvibes

A May meet in Memphis. Wonder who all would be interested in that?

My oldest, Colson, is 6, and Grant is 5 months :lovestruc

A zoo meeting in May sounds perfect! And Memom, making sure our paths cross in WDW sounds ever better!!:cloud9:

My DS had a paci- my oldest DD had her fingers.

I discussed with DS- I know I discussed with a 3 year old - when he was ready to be a big boy the paci would need to go. I too promised a prize. I planned over either a weekend or holiday for the same reason and the first night was rough. We survived and the prize was given.

The next night was easy but DS woke up and wanted another prize. :lmao:
I had to be the bad guy and tell the prize was only a one time deal and he was a big boy now so as a big boy he would be allowed to do big boy things. :rotfl:

Congrats to Bella for being a big girl and giving those pacis away.

What a great start to an MK morning!!!!!

Someday I want to say I have worked for Disney for 10 years!! I think when I'm ready to retire I'm heading back to Florida to live and work!!!!

Your girls are just so precious!! YAY for Fantasyland rides!!!

Good news that you did well on your second observation. The lesson sounds like a fun activity.

The pictures of MK were wonderful. I love the empty streets as you first walk into the park at rope drop.

Glad you did good on your eval.:thumbsup2

Poor Matilda. She had quite the gash on her back:scared1:. Glad to hear she is doing better.:)

Great early morning MK pics!!
