Oh, I feel your pain. Let's just say that anesthesia is a very cautious area for good reason. I get referrals all the time because anesthesia is afraid to put someone to sleep. The funny thing is that Marc probably just has carpal tunnel or something and had to go through all these tests. Better safe than sorry though. I am so glad it is over and he will be home soon!!
I cannot wait to meet everyone on NYE! I so enjoy conversing on a daily basis. Anita, where are you staying?
Bella's idea for a Memom party is precious. She is so adorable. Great pictures today. I am at 22 days now and I get to be at my happy place!!!

We have a big group with us through the 25th/ 29th so we are in a 2br at OKW and waitlisted on a grand villa. They fly home, then we move to POR. I just can't stand using those points for just the two of us over the weekend, with holiday rates being so expensive. We have also looked at Swan/Dolphin. We could switch... Marc and I fly out on January 2nd. Where will you be staying?

Your 22 days sounds much better than our 44 days on this girls trip, but with Marc in his post-op condition, we need this time for him to be able to do some lifting before I leave!

I've been quietly reading and lurking, as usual, but I wanted to share... I realized the other day that September (tomorrow in fact!) will be a year since we were at WDW, and I just wanted to cry. I thought about it all day, and then called my mom who said she'd been thinking the same thing all day.

A few minutes later, we'd planned a quick five day trip in January over MLKJr Day. Mom, the kids, and myself at the Royal Plaza with the Mousesavers discount. Mom can get military passes, and we're going to be extra frugal. And no school missed!

All things are better when you know when your next trip is going to be, isn't it? Not having that on the horizon is so hard to handle.

After Living with the Land, we went on Soarin'.
This is still my very favorite ride in any park.
I want one in my backyard. I would come home from school every day, start it up, and make 2-3 trips across California before I started my evening routine.

That would be totally awesome

I like the front row, of course, but I'm not opposed to seeing dangling legs. I think it's kinda neat.

I've never been able to sit up front, so I've grown accustomed to the dangling feet and it kinda adds to the whole Soarin' experience for me So yeah, they are kinda neat.

That sounds like a good plan for Marc. The remote, take out menus & he'll be fine. I'm glad to hear his surgery went well!!

Thanks Pat! I am excited that we may get to see the back side of Chris if he comes to the Poly!

You may get to see the front side of him too!!! Can't promise he will come to the beach but I sure somewhere somehow it an happen.

I suppose there is a one in a million chance that Drew will come, in which case, if Chris wants a thrill ride buddy at DHS, Drew would rather be doing that than hanging out on the beach with a bunch of DIS nuts. We'll see what happens when December rolls around.

If it happens I am sure Chris would be game.

Chris will think we are all very weird, and he will be correct.

He will see that there are more people who have the same Disney views as mom. Deep down he is grateful for all the trips he has had so far, and the inside tips I have been able to give him.



I saw the soarin' video and then I watch the part 2 Illuminations /Mexico one and I was amazed at what he could do in his backyard. Brought tears to my eyes.
