I am so excited for you! I hope that you have a fabulous time and I hope that Kay gets to spend time with her family. That is too funny about her losing her keys in a span of about 2 minutes.

I agree with Jill and John about not getting your money's worth at other destinations. We went to Chattanooga last week for 5 days. We went to Rock City, Ruby Fall, Incline Railway, the Aquarium, Racoon Mountain Caverns, and Lake Winnepsauka. We had fun but since everything is so expensive nowadays, we would have been better going off to Disney. At least there, I feel like I am getting my money's worth. I was shocked when Lang (It was his idea to try something different for a mini vacation) made the comment that he enjoyed the mountains but now sees how Disney is a better value and that he does enjoy going there. I played it cool. I wanted to yell,"I told you so!" but I refrained. My brainwashing worked slowly but it did work. Anyways, I hope you have a great time and I can't wait to hear all about it.

After I posted about the zoo, I realized it is already end of 2nd week of Oct. No way you would go back to the zoo just next weekend. Where has this year gone????

I am so behind in life.

I've tried other trips in the past too and I always come back.
There is no other vacation spot like WDW....beach is nice but isn't Disney.
For now there is no need to go anywhere else. Other than Aulani, but that's sortove Disney too.

We will have a great time. When I was almost to Nashville today, the words 'Can I think about Disney World now?' popped right out of my mouth. I didn't plan to say that, but it just jumped out! It was crazy!

I know that feeling all too well. Your poor mind was so busy on school and the goings ons in the community and trying to fit it all in, you pushed Disney to the back corner until it pushed back.

I hope you allowed to put your brain on vacation but not all the way. I usually dial it back a little too much when I first get there and do some bonehead things until I dial it up a little so I can function.

You should be in the air soon if not already.

Wow MeMom posting at 3:15 am!! I hope you have a wonderful time with Brooklynn & Kay. That is wonderful that she is seeing her brother that she has not seen in 2 years!! How great is that??? I wonder how they will enjoy POR as we are there in less than 2 weeks.

They saw your dad earlier today. He walked them right on to Toy Story Mania.

I dropped Mom, Brooklynn, Kay and Breanna off this morning very early. I watched as they made it through security and headed toward the gate. Then drove back home to John and Bella. Bella had woken up before they left and was not happy to be left behind. She has been walking around today asking "Where is 'Blooklynn'?" I have to keep reminding her she is in Disney World. In the messages I've gotten it seems they have had a very productive half day at Hollywood Studios. I know the plan is to go to the Chip and Dale campfire tonight, but we left the house at 3:30 this morning and we were at the airport at 5:30 so we will see how they are feeling in a bit.

Did they make it to the campfire.......sounds like they may turn in early.
But on the other hand the first day you are running on so much excittement and can go a long time without getting tired.

I'm sure by now they have been to a park and are heading back for a swim.

They did make it to the campfire. Mom said there were lots of people and the prices for smore stuff were crazy high. The bus system was a pain to get back to Pop, but they made it and crashed. They hit Animal Kingdom this morning and then just met up with everybody outside of Magic Kingdom. They are headed back to watch a movie at the Hippy Dippy pool and then off to bed early. Tomorrow is Magic Kingdom.

MeMom, I hope you are not too sad about leaving the rest of the family behind. I can sympathize though. I have went on two girls only WDW trips and I probably will never do another again. It is just not the same without my kiddos. I missed them like mad! You and Brookie have a great time!
