MIMI's!!!!

Went to their official site and honestly thought the choices of foods were outstanding as were the posts of everyone that has went there. We're going to give this establishment a try. The last time we stayed at DL, we stayed at the Grand Californian and honestly seemed to eat at the Storyteller's Cafe WAAAAYYYY too much, even though we honestly thought it was very good we really should have tried more places other than this restaurant and at the downtown disney choices of restaurants. Thanks everybody for their great posts!!!! Chip.

Mimi's is one of our favorite places to go to dinner. We have never been to the one in Anaheim but the menu is pretty much the same everywhere. My favorite is the soup/half salad , I get the french onion soup with a half chinese chicken salad, and a carrot raisin muffin, mmmmmmmmmm.

And I often get the soup/half sandwich with french onion & turkey salad on toasted raisin bread. It is soooo good.

In addition to the yummy food, the restaurant is nicely decorated, and you get pretty good service, so it's just an enjoyable meal.

I have been hearing that we should eat at mimi's on here for months, and so I was looking forward to eating there!! Then, what should appear about 10 miles away is a brand new Mimi's. I had never even heard of the chain living in Ohio, but they are getting ready to open on just north of cincy!! Go figure....LOL

They are on Harbor Boulevarde, opposite the Howard Johnson (which is the last hotel before the intersection for the I-5 Freeway from LA), I'd guess about 2 miles away down Harbor Boulevarde - probably too far to walk.

ymmmmmmmmmm, a bowl of Mimi's chili and a basket of bread is one of my favorite 'lite' meals. I think Mimi's is a great place to go with a group of people also.....the menu is varied, there's something for everyone.
