Never had Millie's but it looks good
However Mimi's in our area is really good! And you can sign up a few weeks before your trip and get a free breakfast coupon!

I think Mimi's is better. If you want a diner atmosphere go ahead and try Millies. I am happy going to both.

Mimi's is pretty good. Pastries in the morning or the pot pie in the evening are tasty. We often grabbed muffins on our way to the park when we stayed at FFI.

Millie's kind of reminded me of a slightly upgraded Denny's.

I like them both. Millie's food is slightly less expensive than Mimi's. More of a selection, too. I like their chicken tortilla soup and their individual pies. Since we have Mimi's at home, we try to hit up Millie's if we stay overnight.

Mimi's is a chain restaurant serving foods of all sorts typically playing Italian music like Dean Martin in the background. Meals are generally pretty good but somewhat costly. Say $10-20 per person with drink.

Millie's is like a poor mans Applebee's or Chili's but the food was pretty good as well. Good comfort food. It is definitely cheaper than Mimi's.

Why not try both?

Since I had read so often about Mimi´s and never about Millie´s, I was wondering if the latter was good or not, but with these posts I think that we will probably try both.

Mimi's is one of our favorites, either the location across from DL, or the original location on north Euclid in Anaheim. (Yes, it started as one a single privately owned restaurant in Anaheim. It's a corporate chain now, but hasn't always been.)

We have been very happy with Millie's on our two trips to DL. We are staying at FFI next month and plan on eating there again. The prices are fair and the food/service are nice.

I haven't eaten at either in a while, and I ate breakfast at Mimi's but dinner at Millie's. For what we got, we preferred Millie's. But we'd try either again.

We stayed at FFI on our trip last month. We ate both restaurants several times for breakfast only. We thought Mimi's was way better in terms of food quality. But I would eat at Millie's again in a pinch. Oh, and if you get a chance to try the buttermilk spice muffins at Mimi's they are sooo...soo...good!

So is the low fat blueberry! It's made with applesauce instead of sugar and so so good! And huge! For 2 bucks you can't beat that!!
