DC comics killed Bruce Wayne (Batman)

Guess what ... Both are on the way back this year. My thinking is that Archie comics will drag this out for a year or so, and then things will get called off on the wedding day. Not an Archie reader, but it makes sense.

EDIT to add: I've talked to friends who read the Archie books, and they've told me told me it's not a stunt, and that Betty will end up with Jughead ... I'm still thinking the Wedding will get called off

It's a "what if" taking place after they graduate from college. It will go a bunch of issues (six I think) and then it's back to high school for the gang.

Let's see how the story plays out.

The Archie comics are a definite teaching tool for my young son - I'm always telling him about how Archie should be with sweet and kind Betty.

Rumors are pointing towards Bruce coming back among the living by the end of the big Green Latern: Blackest Night story. That will wrap in about 6 months. Currently Dick Grayson is Batman, and when Bruce comes back, Dick may remain Batman for a bit. My guess is anywhere from 12-18 months, and Bruce will be back wearing the cape.
