Millionaire is the one thing I really want to do on this trip. Can I bring my 1 yo old in with me?? I may have to do it while my 3 yo is napping at the Dolphin with his dad.

Any tips on how to make it to the hotseat?

I never made it into the hot seat, but it is important to get the initial fastest finger question right. Even if you are not the fastest, you earn points for correctness. Then it is pushing as soon as you can the right answer for the following questions. I did get my seat number up on the top 10, and I felt that was great in itself.

Personally, they don't award enough for the size of the audience. In the three times we went during our trip, only two people made it into the hot seat during the show. It is still fun to play, and winners do happen, as there was a million dollar winner in the show before ours.

It is fun and worth the trip.

There would be no problem in bringing your little one with you. It is just like any Disney "show" so there are lots of seats. As the previous poster stated--it is all about the points. You answer along with the person in the hot seat and when that person's turn ends the person with the most points at that point in time gets the hot seat. You must have to be really, really quick because I could get all the right answers but I never made it on the top ten list. I did not get the fastest fingers question right, though. That one must be worth 100,000 points. It is a lot of fun even if you never get close:D

I've been in the Hot Seat twice and never answered the fastest finger question correctly. We guess at the fastest finger question. My two kids have made it to the Hot Seat simply by guessing the fastest finger answer.

Micro-seconds count. Couldn't the one-year old take a nap with the other two?

What is the question level of Who Want to Be A Millionaire, do they like have easy questions for kids, and harder questions for Adults???

While we were at the Indiana Jones show, the guy sitting next to me told me that a 17 yo boy won a Disney Cruise -- he got up to the million dollar question and answered it correctly! Can you even imagine!??!!?

I saw a few people w/Millionaire t-shirts on ... so they must give something for playing.

I tried and tried and tried to get on the Millionaire show with Regis. I went to three different auditions. Maybe I will have better luck at MGM this November. I would LOVE to win a cruise!

By the way.........
TAG FAIRY, TAG FAIRY! I BELIEVE IN YOU! I REALLY, REALLY BELIEVE! CLAP! CLAP! CLAP!

First, there is no reason why you can not bring your one year old to the show. It is airconditioned and very comfortable. If you make it to the hot seat, I imagine that there is reason why you can not bring your child to the hot seat. On the reverse side, children under 9 or so can have the parents come down to the hot seat with them and help with the answers. There has has been at least four four year olds make it to the hot seat on fastest finger rounds.

I have been to the hot seat six times and my DS has been three or four times. It is a blast each time you get down there. There are some hints on the Debate board on the thread on the thirty day rule from a past million point winner and another local contestant who has been on the hot seat numerous times.

Have fun. WWTBAM-PI is one on my favorite attractions (despite the silly thirty day rule).

I was in the hot seat last Thursday. I didn't get the fastest finger question (I had no clue, so I pressed random buttons), but I was the top audience player during the game, so got to the hot seat after the previous player missed.

I don't think I was particularly quick with my answers (maybe they had a dumber than average audience that day ;)).

I simply pressed the correct answer quickly *after* the lights on the buttons came on. Lots of people were pressing the buttons before the lights came on. I never did. I don't know if that made any difference. The lights come on as soon as the host reads answer "D", so you can lock in your answer even while she's still reading.

It's somewhat nervous being in the hot seat, but still fun!
