Millennium Falcon FP- how tough to get and how to prioritize?

Hoping to get MF FPs on day 60 + 4 of our upcoming April trip. This is the week before Easter, so I know crowds will be high. Party of 4. What do you think my odds are? I’m thinking I should prioritize this one first.

Other hard-to-get FPs I’m hoping for are SDD on day 60, and Flight of Passage on days 60 + 1 and 60 + 5. Am I right to prioritize MF first?

A. What do you think my odds are?
B. I’m thinking I should prioritize this one first.

Other hard-to-get FPs I’m hoping for are
C. SDD on day 60, and
D. Flight of Passage on days 60 + 1
E. and 60 + 5. Am I right to prioritize MF first?
A. Decent odds.
B. Good plan. But, we'll learn more soon.
C. Will likely be tough.
D. Oops!
E. Much more likely.

Mil-Falcon is a good ride. (Great themeing.)
Not a lot different than Star Tours (for six guests) paired with the "buttons" of Mission: SPACE.

OTOH, Rise of the Resistance is a fantastic ride with, well, everything!

Just booked ours today for 3/30 to 4/3. HS was our 60+3 day and MFSR and SDD only had availability 5:00pm and on. They seemed to have an equal number of times left between them. Animal Kingdom is our first park day and there were zero FOPs left.

SDD on Day 60 is rare if almost impossible
FoP on 60+1 isn't going to happen either, 60+5 no worries

I would not prioritize Smuggler's Run first but 60+4 should be available.[/QUOTE]

Ok....thanks! These responses are so helpful. Follow-up question.... Currently Magic Kingdom is our 60 + 2 day (Sunday) and AK is our 60 + 1 (Saturday). AK offers 8-9 a.m. extra magic on Saturday. If we can’t get a flight of passage fast pass that day and it’s a must-do for our family, would you swap those days? Meaning, animal Kingdom on Sunday and Magic Kingdom on Saturday? Is there a much greater chance of a flight of passage fast pass on day 60+2 over day 60+ 1?

Otherwise, we would rope drop flight of passage on Saturday and I’m hoping that the line wouldn’t be insane during extra magic hour.

And, we have a second day AK day planned (day 60+5), so we really want to do flight of passage twice! We think it’s that good! :)

One somewhat related comment. Disney currently has their generic rather short hours posted for DHS in April. Keep an eye out for changes closer in as that will be an excellent opportunity to fix/adjust any FPs you missed at 60 days.

If you were the first person in for FP booking this morning, you would have found:

I can’t tell you how helpful this is!!! Is FOP about the same availability?

I still to this day since fop opened at ak still put it at least 60 plus 4 out. Same with slinky. Any new or hard ride always gets 60 plus 4. We do other stuff at the parks during the first 3 days of the trip. Actually last trip in June fop was 60 plus 9. We rope dropped it first day also though. I’m stressing about hs this Easter with the train opening and not have seen galaxy edge yet. Toy story land is on the back burner this trip.

Generally FOP will be harder to get than the 2 rides at DHS.
See any date's availability by time using the Touring Plans free tool (you can change the date and parks in the upper corner)
https://touringplans.com/animal-kingdom/fastpass-availability/date/2020-04-05and see a calendar of overall availability on The Dibb:

Edited to add - P.S. Flight of Passage availability for 60+1, which exists right now, is extremely unusual. Most of the year that's 60+3 or 60+4, and it can get to 60+7 at the busiest times.

I would prioritize the FOP FP as those book really really fast. It will always be a 2-3+ hour wait and during busy weeks can be 4hours. Rope drop is a sea of people for that and unless you are up front its gonna be 2 hours of wasted time.
MFSR just hit fast pass and they are going insanly quick. That line moves quickly and usually is 90 minutes or less. If you wait until after 5 or 6 the line gets under an hour and sometimes less so you can ride allot. So the FOP should be your priority as its the longest of all waits.
SDD is always hard but can be had if you get on right at the opening of the window; however, with the FP tiers you can either have SDD or MFSR not both. SDD tends to have longer waits all day. However, at night it will get shorter but it is the better option to get right now.
7DMT at MK is tough but they have allot so you should be able to get that.
ROR is a virtual que so take that into account.

FOP when I booked for this January at 60+ 2 had very limited choices on times. I believe I had maybe three available times. I booked as soon as the window allowed me to also and we went in a somewhat slower time (jan 10 to 18), which really was not slower. SDD I was able to get on everyone of the 4 days we went to HS with somewhat limited times but there were many available. I have seen the MFSR has been going insanley quick; however, like I said this is easier to do in evenings as that area of the park typically clears out. Between 630 and 8 were were able to ride at least 3 times one night and always got pilots and gunners. Also it will depend on what day your arrival is for as you may get a better reservation window. So if you get there before a Saturday that may help over the people getting there Sat and also leaving that day as you could hit a sweet spot in availability. However, take into account FOP at 3 Hour+ wait or MFSR at 60 to 90 minutes. Good luck!

I booked this morning and got morning FoP at 60+4, evening MFSR at 60+2, and afternoon SDD at 60+3.

Counting on the opening hours being moved up (currently at 9am) to get MFSR and SDD to earlier times :)

This is very helpful! We have a 7 day trip planned for early June, I'm very optimistic that we should get on all our faves (we like getting the later times anyway!)

So basically what this says is, too bad, so sad, if you're not staying on site during the busiest of times. You have almost a zero chance of getting one of these.

I'm not in that boat, but it's still pretty sad when the first 3 days are off limits, even to on-site guests.

This pre-booking FP madness needs to end.

When they add MMRR to this tier someday it will turn this whole thing upside down. But yes if you’re offsite you have zero chance at a FP for either using the Feb 19th tiers. No different than your chances for a FP for either ride with the current tiers.

PS the fact that FPs are running out so fast means they’re not using a whole heck of a lot of MFSR’s capacity for FP. Maybe half? If they ran FP at 70 or 80% there’d be FastPasses available for offsite guests.

But the flip side of that is that it means the standby line should chug right along.
