Milkshakes--The Best & The Worst

In 2008, we were able to get milkshakes at WCC as our dessert on the dining plan.

Why get them as a dessert, when you can get them as your drink? They are bottomless.

I did not care for the ones at WCC. I had chocolate and maybe a vanilla.

For those that liked them at WCC, what flavor did you get?

My favorite is the PB&J at 50's Prime Time Cafe.

I guess because it was about 90 degrees outside, and we needed something a little more refreshing to drink. I don't know if you can get them as your drink at WCC; I was just trying to answer the question about the dining plan with the information I had.

Thanks again everyone!!:goodvibes:goodvibes Got some really good ideas, and will definitely try them when we go to 50s Prime Time and WCC.

I absolutely love the Dole Whips at MK, don't you!!:banana: Do they make milkshakes or is it just ice cream? I must admit I didn't check the board to see if they did as it was our first time for a Dole Whip and we've been coming since 1979!!

Is the Plaza a hotel in DTD or someother place in the parks?

Thanks again for your help and continued input.

So many choices:yay::yay:--am I hijacking my own thread???:scared1::scared1:

Love the idea of refillable milkshakes at WCC:woohoo::woohoo: now that's a refillable mug!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Wonder if they'll eat dinner or drink it??

The Plaza is around the corner on your right at the end of Main St.(across the street from Casey's and next to the ice cream shop)
I think they have the best shakes on property, followed by Beaches and Cream.

Yummmm Ghiradelli's! I always get myself a chocolate milkshake on our trips to DTD. We're staying at BC on our next trip, I'll have to make sure I take time to get myself a milkshake there too!

The peanut butter and jelly milkshake and the chocolate milkshake at 50s Prime Time are very good.

Another vote for the PB & J at 50's PTC. We are going this year just for milkshakes & fries. I always get mine w/chocolate ice cream. Tastes like a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup.

Another vote from me for the PB&J at 50s PT. That is DD's favorite. The first time she got it I thought it would be gross but I actually love it to!!! Found the recipe online and made them at home and it was just as good!!!

I also found the recipe online and made them constantly over Christmas Break last year. I believe my family may have been getting sick of seeing the blender come out ;).

I have to say that the best shake I have had was from the Pop Century food court. It was really good. I have had shakes at Sci Fi, Whispering Canyon and 50's also. Pop one was the best.

Staying at the Pop again this year and didn't even notice the milkshakes...I'll have to try one. Do you know what kinds they had? Are they a dessert option on DDP? I also never got a sundae there last time...guess I was on sensory overload (and I will get one this time by saving the receipt and coming back later).

Is it possible to have a "worst" milkshake? I've never had a bad one.

My WDW favorite, by far, is the PB&J shake at the 50's PT. We've had delicious shakes at the Whispering Canyon Cafe and the Sci-Fi, too.

50's Prime Time chocolate. I want to try the PB&J too. I am going to be having a lot of shakes next week in that 90+ weather. lol

Thanks for the info.!:goodvibes:goodvibes Do you happen to know if it is take-out, sitdown or both?:worship::worship:
